Thor motorhomes recalled: LP tanks could fall off

Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Luminate and Indigo motorhomes. The LP tank support tube may be too short and have an insufficient weld that may fracture, allowing the tank to detach.

A detached tank can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash which could lead to injuries or worse. The recall was issued September 30.

Remedy
The remedy is currently under development. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 24, 2025. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC’s number for this recall is RC000331.

Hmmm, a detached L.P. tank may be a road hazard to others..how about to the RV itself too ?
And they’re going to wait almost 2 months to send out the notification letters. Shameful!

I’m trying to determine how a recall is issued 30 September 2025 but notification letters won’t be mailed out until 24 November 2025??? 55 days After the recall?? YGTBKM!!
I’m glad our travel trailer was built by a company, CrossRoads, before Thor bought them.
