If you don’t own a travel trailer but would like one for the summer and you don’t care how you acquire it, it seems you can just back up your tow vehicle to a trailer of your choice at Arnold’s RV in Enid, Oklahoma.
The dealership may want to step up their security after the same trailer was stolen twice. Enid Police Department Capt. Tim Jacobi said the department was contacted about 9 a.m. Tuesday by the Guthrie Police Department concerning the travel trailer that they had recovered in their jurisdiction, reports the Enid News & Eagle.
Officer Devin Horton went to the business and learned the travel trailer had been stolen sometime between 1 and 2 a.m. Tuesday. Surveillance video from a nearby business showed two people in a dark-colored pickup leaving the area with the travel trailer in tow.
The same travel trailer was stolen less than a week before, Jacobi said. “The owner of Arnold’s RV confirmed it should have been on the lot and it was stolen,” Jacobi said. The trailer, valued at $6,500, had been left with the dealer to sell it.
About 9 a.m. on July 26, officers took a report of two travel trailers being stolen from Arnold’s RV about 2 a.m. One of the trailers from that theft has not been recovered.
