Decorating an RV for the holidays can be challenging, especially for full-timers. Space is limited, and then there’s the dilemma of where to put it all later. However, the Theory of Simple YouTube channel has some cheap and cheerful RV makeover ideas in the video below that will change your thoughts on RV holiday decorating.
Our hostess uses a tiny Class B RV as her holiday RV decorating model. The video begins with a quick pre-decorating tour.
The decorating begins with a practical, bright red throw blanket she already had. The color instantly sets the mood.
She then did some simple no-sew crafting to transform the backs of her pillows to match the holiday décor. She can later turn them back around for a whole new look. Fabric scraps, a couple of dollar store items, and a glue gun were all it took.
Removable hooks and dollar store garland accented with fairy lights did a lot, and in such a small space, it doesn’t take much garland. She then created a small dollar store Christmas tree and hung the stockings in the camper van’s back windows.
Be sure to watch the video as she presents lots of other fun RV holiday decorating tips and easy DIY decorating crafts. My biggest takeaway is that in such a small space, it doesn’t take a whole lot to transform it and make it festive for the holidays, without spending a lot. Therefore, leaving most of these things behind will not be such a big deal.
