Despite a host of RV drivers who suffered the consequences of trying to drive their rigs in the high winds of Colorado, a semi-truck driver apparently decided he was just too tough to stop.
Yahoo News reports eyewitness Jake Stokes said, “They (truck drivers) had severe wind storm warnings. The highway got shut down shortly after several trailers and fifth-wheel campers were blown over.”
The 20-second video shows the big rig nearly tipping over on the pavement, then making a very quick exit from the highway by blasting through a barb-wire fence and regaining his stability in the soil on the other side.

Nice save!
Not sure if he is very good or very lucky. Either way ~~ great save!
If I hadn’t seen the video, I’d never have believed it. That was one fortunate driver and a great save.
I bet he had to clean his pants out after that stunt.
Whoa! He almost tipped over. My friend and I were driving on a highway on a windy day. We hear a loud noise. Found out that I didn’t latch my tonneau cover on the tailgate properly. The result, it flipped up against my cab. Luckily it didn’t break the glass but left a large dent. Make sure you guys latch down your solid tonneau cover when it’s windy…
Whether that maneuver was intentional or not that was exceptional driving!
Wasn’t that amazing?! I sure didn’t expect to see him come out of it upright! 😯 😀 —Diane at RVtravel.com
Now that is a truck driver!
