Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 EKKO motorhomes. The blind spot monitoring system may fail without warning to the driver. Without a functioning blind spot monitoring system, the driver may be unaware of a vehicle in his or her blind spot, which can increase the risk of a crash and/or injury. As many as 844 RVs may be affected by this recall, which was issued January 18.
Remedy
Dealers will install a new blind spot monitoring system, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 16, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.nhtsa.gov.

Gee, everyone else must be out partying this Friday night, except Neal,
My rear view camera, after market, does a pretty good job of showing the blind spot.
Go Away Snow!
Thank you, RV Travel! Yes, that could be a serious problem. Hope no one dies before they all get fixed. 🙂
