Winnebago Towable (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Minnie, 2024-2025 Access, and 2021-2025 Voyage travel trailers. The countertop may have an incorrect standard outlet installed when there should be a GFCI protected outlet.
A lack of proper circuit protection increases the risk of electric shock and injury.
As many as 1,201 RVs may be affected by this recall, which was issued August 14, 2024.
Remedy
Dealers will install a GFCI outlet, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 11, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5250. Winnebago’s number for this recall is CAM0000038.
Notes
Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Tbank you, RV Travel! 🙂 Well, … that is dangerous. 🙁 But people did live through the 1950s without them. Still, a bit concerning that quality control failed to get this fixed before any were shipped to dealers. Thanks again, have a great day, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
