3 of my most perfect RV products

Few products are perfect. Even fewer are perfect for an RV’s limited interior space, but I recently bought three products that are absolutely perfect for my RV. Perhaps they’ll be perfect (or nearly perfect) for yours, as well.

Stick-on wall LED light

Amazon product LED light

I enjoy reading before turning off the lights at night, and since our RV lacks bedside tables, it’s been difficult to find a good reading light. I’ve tried the lights that clip to the book, hang from my neck, and other portable configurations, with no real success.

Then I found this one. I love its compact, sleek design and it comes in both a light and dark wood tone to complement any RV’s interior.

While this light provides enough brightness for me to read, it’s not so bright as to disturb my husband as he sleeps. This product would also work well in motion-sensor mode as a night light, RV stair illumination aid, and even a flashlight (it’s removable from its stand.)

Reusable silicone lids

Forget hassling with plastic wrap or struggling to find the lids that match your leftover containers. These reusable and stretchy silicone lids are easier to use and, what’s more, you can see through them! The lids provide a leakproof and airtight fit for most containers.

But that’s not all! These silicone lids are BPA-free and can be used in the freezer as well as in the microwave. Lids come in seven different sizes and can be stored in the accompanying storage bag.

Rolldown egg dispenser

egg dispenser Amazon

Our RV fridge loves this dispenser. That’s because we can open the door, grab an egg, and shut the door. This reduces the loss of cooled, refrigerator air and the fridge stays happy. I like the dispenser because it takes up very little space, has nonslip feet, and I can easily see when it’s time to buy more eggs. Learn more about it here.

How about you?

I love articles about RVing gadgets! And, while I like the idea of the Youcopia egg dispenser (it would save room), eggs are best kept in cardboard containers to avoid absorption of other strong odors from the fridge through the thousands of tiny pores in the shell. I will definitely check out those silicone covers though!

Eggs likely will break in this dispenser when bouncing down rough road

A basket from Dollar Tree for your eggs will hold almost three dozen eggs. Haven’t had any break yet.

Temu has the same lights for half the price.

Thank you, Gail! 🙂 I do not read in bed, but the light might be a great idea to give some illumination when I watch television after DW and dog #3 have gone to bed. Meanwhile, DW is considering the lids. Thanks again, have a wonderful week, and SAFE travels! 🙂

Blackout Buddy from The American Red Cross. It’s a combo nightlight sensor/flashlight. Plug it in where you need illumination at night. Will brighten when senses movement. Also serves as convenient flashlight, very handy when needed. For indoors only.
