Free download: RV manufacturers and the brands they make

A free 73-page report from of every U.S. RV manufacturer and the makes and models of each brand.

By Chuck Woodbury
“RVs: Who Makes What” is the result of hundreds of hours of research and fact-checking by our associate Bradford Geer. It’s the most comprehensive guide to RV manufacturers and their brands ever assembled. We offer this publication for free as a public service.

Please share this 73-page report freely with your RVer friends. Attach it to an email. Post a link to it ( ) on your social media pages. If you have a website or blog, tell your readers about it – they will thank you. Print copies for your RV club’s library.

I would like to thank our sponsor, SoftStartRV, which manufactures an add-on to your RV air conditioner that enables it to run with only household current, a small generator or an inverter. It’s a new, game-changing technology that we endorse enthusiastically. Learn more or order at a special discount at

I hope this report proves valuable to you.

This is great. Thanks for doing it. I have one (hopefully small) suggestion: How about a table sorted by brand that shows the manufacturer. That way, when folks see an RV they can look up who makes it. If the content is in a database or table already, that should be an easy addition. Thanks again.

The hyper link in this report for Advanced RV on page 12 is wrong. The correct web link for Advanced RV, Class B Motorhome builder, is Advanced RV | Custom Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Motorhomes (

Looks like the truck camper list was pulled directly from the Truck Camper Adventure website. Shouldn’t you have provided some kind of attribution?

In the spring of 2008, Entegra Coach became a member of the Jayco family, not sure where Thor is coming from.

I forgot, Thor purchased Jayco a while back. Sorry

Hmmm, first entry out of the gate is false. American Coach is made by REV group, not Thor.

This is great! Thank you! Small point, American Coach is owned by REV (not an acronym, just a set of capitalized letters), not Thor Industries. This is a point of some pride with me because we own a 2016 American Revolution (and I am extremely disdainful of Thor based on many comments I have read on iRV2). Now that I have gotten this “off my chest,” I’ll read further. 🙂 Thanks again. This is a great resource and I am extremely thankful that you went to so much trouble to compile it. Thank you!

Great list, but seems to come up a little short in some aspects. For instance Newmar Bay Star line has multiple models. Some data is missing. Great starting point. But readers will want to double check details.

Chuck, I was looking for information on the Arctic Fox travel trailers. When I clicked on the
Northwood Mfg. link, I was taken to a vendor @ Northwood RV Sales in Northwood NH. not
the home office in La Grande Oregon. Thought you would like to know.

Thank you very much for this report. It will be very helpful when I start looking for my next RV. In case you are interested in an update, the Tiffin Allegro Open Road is powered by a Ford gas engine.
