    • Hi, Paul. I’m not involved with that project until after it’s done, and then I proofread it. But I think they’re working on an updated version of the directory of RV manufacturers. I’ll check on it and, if that’s the case, when it will be published. Thank you for asking. Have a great day. 😀 –Diane

  1. Gulf Stream Coach also uses the brand name “Friendship” for travel trailers [they have the same model numbers as other GS brands] – – I think “Friendship” is exclusive to the dealer chain, Camper’s Inn.

  2. Embassy has changed the names of their Class B RVs:
Traveler is now the Dolphin S
Sport is now the Dolphin SS
Duo is now the Dolphin SL

A Class B+ (yes I know it’s really Class C) design is in the works too.

BTW… we finally picked up our Dolphin SL and just love it! Only had 60 miles on it and we’ve already driven 2500 miles seeing the sites of this wonderful country of ours!

  3. I downloaded this list when it first came out several months ago. A very good comprehensive listing of RV manufacturers. However, a list I think most of us in the RV lifestyle could use is a list of supply companies for those looking to do upgrade mods to their RV, or in my case looking to replace the industry standard “peeling and flaking” OEM furnishings so many of us have experienced. I traded in my last motorhome that looked and ran like new because that was the easier option than trying to source and replace the interior furnishings.

I think some like myself would even pay for an in-depth listing of supply houses that would deal with consumers directly.

    • Great suggestion. A list of who owns who of OEM parts manufacturers would be of great value to those of us with older rigs that we intend to keep or remodel. Also after market or remanufacturers as a lot of parts are no longer supported by the OEM,s

  4. Technically all Tiffin Wayfarer coaches are marketed and sold as Class C. There are two listings for them — 4 models in the B section and one in the C section. Thanks for the work in preparing the document! I can use it in my business as I am a certified National Recreational Vehicle Inspector Association (NRVIA) certified inspector.

  5. Thanks for putting this out for your readers. I have asked this question before, but received no answer. Is there a list that shows the different categories of RV’s, i.e. entry level, mid level, heavy use, luxury, etc.? I would suppose this would tell a person the quality of the models so if I was looking to travel a few weekends a year I would probably opt for an entry level, versus if I were looking to full time, I would be looking for a better built rig that would last. Any info on this subject would be great. Thanks again.

  6. We have a 2017 Holiday Rambler Vesta 31U (class C) motorhome. I believe this style was made two years only 2017-2018.

  7. From http://www.nadaguides.com
“Started with the production of truck campers, Indiana-based Four Winds International evolved into a popular recreational vehicle brand. Producing travel and fifth wheels trailers, Four Winds also featured a Class A and Class C motor homes. With trailer sizes as long as 40 feet in length, the Four Winds line of motorhomes range up to 43.5 feet. Four Winds motorhome production was incorporated into Thor Motor Coach after the 2011 model year where the brand name continues to be sold as a Class C model.”

We have a 2010/2011 Four Winds 33T Class A and nowhere on it does it say THOR, I think it may have been the last FW made…. I do NOT see it in your list for Class A’s

  8. This is great. Thanks for doing it. I have one (hopefully small) suggestion: How about a table sorted by brand that shows the manufacturer. That way, when folks see an RV they can look up who makes it. If the content is in a database or table already, that should be an easy addition. Thanks again.

    • Hi Roger, I just submitted that list you mentioned to the folks at RVT. I am the person who compiled the RV Manufacturers list. It is listed here as 73 pages; it is up to 105 pages.

    • Hi Karen,
I compiled this list through Internet searches, manufacturers web sites and Google searches. I was very cognizant of plagiarism

  9. Hmmm, first entry out of the gate is false. American Coach is made by REV group, not Thor.
You can’t be perfect all your life 😑 🙂
    .

  10. Hello Chuck
i have a 2018 sunset trail grand reserve. A friend just ordered a new model. But I don’t see it on the list. Could you help me with this
Great article on this it is very eye opening

  11. This is great! Thank you! Small point, American Coach is owned by REV (not an acronym, just a set of capitalized letters), not Thor Industries. This is a point of some pride with me because we own a 2016 American Revolution (and I am extremely disdainful of Thor based on many comments I have read on iRV2). Now that I have gotten this “off my chest,” I’ll read further. 🙂 Thanks again. This is a great resource and I am extremely thankful that you went to so much trouble to compile it. Thank you!

  12. Great list, but seems to come up a little short in some aspects. For instance Newmar Bay Star line has multiple models. Some data is missing. Great starting point. But readers will want to double check details.

  13. Chuck, I was looking for information on the Arctic Fox travel trailers. When I clicked on the
Northwood Mfg. link, I was taken to a vendor @ Northwood RV Sales in Northwood NH. not
the home office in La Grande Oregon. Thought you would like to know.

  14. Thank you very much for this report. It will be very helpful when I start looking for my next RV. In case you are interested in an update, the Tiffin Allegro Open Road is powered by a Ford gas engine.
