I like a clean RV and anything to help make that process easier is on my radar. My years in the fire service taught me how to clean big rigs, and one of the best tools we had was a wash brush on a stick!
Not just any brush, however, and while a plain wood handle may suffice for awhile, having the right extension pole and brush will make all the difference.
Mr. LongArm is a manufacturer of extendable poles for a number of industries, and has a product line designed for the RV, truck and automotive industries. These include both solid and flow-through poles, and a selection of brushes.
I much prefer a solid or non-flow-through type pole over the flow-through type, but that’s a personal choice. I do like the larger-style brush heads that are slightly angled, allowing better coverage of the roof line and at obtuse angles.
The Mr. LongArm 8506 Marine, very soft, green brush is a good choice, especially for coaches with higher-end finishes. The 3212 6-12 foot extension pole is ideal for RVers as it will easily reach the roof and collapses down to a size that will fit in a compartment. The items can be found at Amazon.com, or in many truck stops, marine and RV centers, and some big box stores and auto parts retailers.
