Lost Alaskan RV Park (some tent sites also) in Alpine, TX. Located in a small but quaint town 80 miles north of Big Bend National Park. We have nothing but good things to say about the RV park, reasonable rates, great staff and the other guests.

When does Alexandria State Recreational Area have “free” camping? Even FC-FS recreational areas in NE with no gate attendent have “iron rangers” that have required cash or check in an envelope at $35/night for FHU or $25/night for electric-only campsites since 2019! We know as we have been staying at NE state recreation areas and parks for years, before and after 2019.

Only 1 of the 3 is actually “affordable”, or don’t you actually pay attention to the costs? Come on — $45/night?
