I miss those days…..
51 years. Sometimes, you get it right.
Just one seriously. There were others during high school, but only one after I graduated. After tech school, I moved to another city and drove home every weekend. That lasted less than 6 months. We ended up getting married when I was 20 and my wife was 19.
Now it’s 52 years years later
Probably 4 or 5. The question is, how many of them were seriously dating me!!
It took me five times to get it right. He passed and I have no desire to try again.
When I was 24 yrs. old, I met a young lady at work. I hadn’t ever dated, but asked her to go to Dennys restaurant with me for dinner. 9 months later we got married. We just celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary!

I dated one person all thru high school. Just before graduation I had the feeling there should be more and broke up. A month later I met someone that totally gave me that more. Married 6 months later. 43 years next month.
If “serious” = “> 1 date,” then one person. If “serious” = “dated for > 1 year,” then zero people.
I married the first person I seriously dated, after that I seriously dated several people before marrying again. (I live in Utah)
The first time or the second? Once I got my practice marriage out of the way, I found the RIGHT person and married her. 33 years later we’re still going strong.

I think the operative word here was “seriously”. I went out with a couple girls but never seriously. It was more like we were friends and both enjoyed doing stuff together. When someone introduced me to my wife,I knew she was tho one on our first date. We’ve been married 49 years.
Not sure I “seriously” dated my wife of nearly 32 years before we were married.
We’ve been dating for 61 years and got married somewhere along there.
I really wish RV Travel would stick to travel related topics, especially those that focus on RV lifestyle, equipment or etc. I am beginning to cringe when I see these polls like today. I read this site for RV related issues, not to play Facebook type games.
O come on a little bit of lite hearted trivia never hurt anyone.
Maybe you weren’t aware of this fact, but you ARE free to totally skip over anything that doesn’t interest you. Some of us do find enjoyment in side bunny trails at times. When I do come across the rare polls I’m not interested in, I simply skip over it and don’t complain. Keep up the good work, RVTravel staff!
Seriously dated my ex x 6 months before marrying the1st time. Met my dearly beloved a year into that “practice marriage”. Went back and forth a few times. Divorced at 9 years 11 months, which was 9 years and 8 months after the first time my ex asked me for1 (I kept custody of my exMIL!) DH and I married x40 years. I’m happy he gave me a second chance.
Seriously I would have married the boy next door if he didn’t move to Baltimore with his parents and then joined the peace corp. Yeah I do that to people. Otherwise I just dated until the right guy came along. Been married now 25 years and we dated for a few years before that. So 31 years we knew each other and 25 last June.
