OK, pizza lovers, this question is for you! When you order pizza whether it’s from the same place or a different place each time, do you tend to always order the same toppings?
Are you a meat-lovers kind of pizza person? Or Hawaiian (the real question: pineapple on pizza?)? A cheese-only enthusiast? Mushroom? Onions? Anchovies? Buffalo chicken? Pesto?
After you vote in the poll, tell us your favorite pizza topping combination in the comments below. Make us drool!
Even though I’m a born meat eater, I always order veggie pizzas.
Half and half and I’m always changing my half.
If I’m sharing a pizza with my husband, it’s the same pepperoni pizza all the time. If the place has pizza by the slice (Venezia’s in Phoenix, AZ is great for this), then I try all kinds of different toppings.
We like the garlic sauce instead of the red sauce and toppings are sausage, mushrooms, and onions.
Depends on where we go, but we both know what we like on our pizzas and rarely make big changes.
We vary with the establishment, ordering a combo of some sort from their menu. But always with thin crust if possible, I’m not a bread guy.
As a vegetarian, I stay away from meat toppings. Lintz Bros. pizza near my home base in SD is my favorite. It’s near the east entrance to Custer State Park and Hermosa, SD
And they make a pizza with sausage, Canadian bacon, sauerkraut, pineapple, and jalapeno peppers! It is truly an outstanding taste treat!!!!
I make my own, Neapolitan thin crust with Italian sausage, green pepper, mushroom, and plenty of mozzarella. 500 degrees in the oven on a stone.
I’ll try most any pizza topping except fish. And that’s how I’ll order, different each time. Maybe one meat or veg. My wife in the other hand, load on as much as the crust will bear. Get your moneys worth, the combo combo, deluxe. Usually soggy.
Always the same. Why mess up a good thing! And always extra cheese
EBA, everything but anchovies.
We like the Garbage Can type of Pizza, everything EXCEPT Anchovies and Pineapple.
We were stationed at Naples, Italy for four years and became spoiled with their pizza. As such, we tolerated the pizzas here in the US. Then a few years ago we learned about a new pizzeria in Albuquerque – Amore. They went to Naples and learned how to make Neapolitan pizza. They import the flour and mozzarella from Naples and bake the pizzas in a wood-fired dome stone oven. These are true Neapolitan pizzas.
If you come to Albuquerque for the International Balloon Fiesta in October, be sure to enjoy a pizza at Amore. They have (as of right now) two locations in Albuquerque.
We really like a garbage pizza. Very hard to find a pizzeria that will or know how to make it. A little bit of everything in the pizza shop. I like anchovies on but not the Dwight.
Pineapples, ham, and bacon extra cheese
