Which TWO professional sports do you enjoy watching most on TV?

Isn’t it fun when you get to select more than one answer in our polls?! That’s what you get to do here today. Pick TWO professional sports that you enjoy watching the most on TV.

Are your two favorites auto racing and golf? Hockey and tennis? Basketball and football? Something entirely different? If you answer “other,” please leave a comment and tell us what that is.

And remember that this poll is about sports… not politics! If your comments turn political they will be deleted. Thank you for following basic instructions! Wink.

Only watch professional golf some but don’t play anymore since it is too expensive and time consuming. Haven’t watched any NFL, NBA or MLB for several years since they have been corrupted with TOO much money being paid to spoiled players who it most cases are under performers!!!

I don’t watch any sports – professional or otherwise.

My choice of football is only for college ball, especially the SEC. ROLL TIDE!!! NFL is too filled with male divas and drama. I also enjoy watching figure skating and gymnastics. Also the Triple Crown horse races.

Why is “none” not on the list? No professional sports for me.

Other. If I want to take a nap I’ll put on golf or baseball.

Larry Boswell

I marked OTHER because I don’t watch any kind of sports on tv or otherwise. Not a fan!

I don’t watch any of the sports you listed, however I really enjoy fishing I would rather be doing it than watching on TV.

I watch no sports on TV. Better said I don’t have a TV by choice.

Terry

I did not pick any. I don’t watch sports in tv. One choice should be none.

Zero

Add me to the “none” list. Overpaid divas.

Should of had none as an option. All I see today is a bunch of over paid whiney babes with a bunch with personal problems dragged into the mix. Nope am good.

Agree…just don’t watch sports anymore.

However, if I’m flipping through channels and catch couples figure skating I will watch that a while. Such grace and beauty on blades has always amazed me.

Dog agility when it’s on. But otherwise nothing.

There was no none option.

I marked baseball and football, but prefer college and high schools sports teams. Much more entertaining. Watching sports or going to coast or mountains, we’re gone.

Non-pro or semi-pro sports are better. The pros don’t make enough mistakes, and it is the mistakes that add excitement.

Also, I worked in radio during college and had access to the media box. You quickly find that what you see and hear on TV/radio is the producer’s version of the game. They can’t cover everything and focus on the big plays, ignoring the strategy that makes those plays happen. Plus the media box has ALL the stats always right in front of the announcers. Bottom line, I got spoiled and find televised sports to mostly be dull.

The Olympics would be our only choice. Not everyone watches sports on TV. Don’t watch any – at all – should have been an option. With our busy RV lifestyle we have much better things to occupy our lives. It would be a total waste of our time.

I don’t care to watch Pro Sports I would watch a fishing show or someone hiking a trail instead.

I only watch figure skating if I happen to stumble on it changing channels.
Too much drama in sports these days

Gary

My favorites are NASCAR and the PGA. Although I played football through college, I no longer care to watch it because it has become so political.

Guess I’m a JStrap!! If there were not Sport’s on T.V. probably would not own.
But then can not watch Curling!! But do say “Eh!!”

Larry Lee

I marked basketball & football – not that I watch either one of them live! I only watch the highlight reels and classic youtube collections of ”best of” plays.

Cycling here!

Larry

I use to watch nascar, now too many rule changes to make it interesting. Now I pretty much do not watch any sports, It is just a waste of my time.

Ron L

The only sports I watch on tv are those college football games that I have recorded (usually any Oregon Duck action).

Baseball and “Other” are my two favorites. “Other” is cycling, road racing, and track and field. I would add cross-country, but only collegiate races are broadcast here in the USA. Were international cross-country races with professional runners shown here, then I would have included it in my “other.” I enjoy watching most collegiate sports — cross-country, baseball, basketball (men and women), football, and track and field — but I stop short of calling them “professional” sports or those who engage in them “professional” athletes despite the influx of over-the-table dollars into their pockets through name, image, and likeness payments.

My wife and I do not enjoy watching professional sports on TV or otherwise. Nothing could be more boring or a waste of our time.

Shelley

The only sport I used to love was pro football. Didn’t really matter which team was playing. After the take a knee issue against our military, flag, and country, I have lost complete respect for the entire organization. So no sports now!

Wow, you really have no idea what that was about. Regardless, it was 6 years ago. The NFL seems to have survived your boycott.

Love watching tennis (but I mostly watch highlights). And I enjoy baseball, but mostly listening to it on the radio. Baseball, a summer night, and a game on the radio is heaven. The TV coverage of baseball, and my #3, football, is just too overproduced for my taste.

The kind of money these people make is not a sport

Auto racing (not Nascar) and college football (not on the list).

You left out one option… “None”. I do not watch any professional sports. I find high school and college sports to be more interesting and entertaining without the obscene payrolls.

I love baseball and have since I was a kid. I don’t watch anything else in the professional but like college football.

For some reason I never understood sports even as a kid. I guess too many rules to remember. When the Chicago Cubs are playing, I MUST leave the house – my wife coaches, directs, criticizes, every play;. I can hear her direct the whole game even thought I am outside. Her Cubs fan father actually wrote the Cubs manager after every bad game to give advice. We have return letters from the managers. I am however, a Cubs “fan” and do check the game score to find out if I am getting supper that night before I go in the house. NEVER mention the Cardinals in my wife’s house. It is my house too, — in “off season”.

That’s funny, Kelly. (Sounds like your wife takes after her dad, at least when it comes to the Cubs.) And I’m glad to hear that it’s your house, too, at least for part of the year. 😆 Have a good night. 😀 –Diane

Cubs are now out of it, so she’s following the Phillies. Just a couple of more games and the World Series is over. Phew! Now I have to put up with the Tampa Bay Bucs! I’m just glad that she does not follow hockey or soccer.

That is so funny! I’m sitting here right now as my husband watches “his” team, The University of Tennessee play Georgia. I texted my neighbor and asked if I could hang out with her until the game is over. Though I do hesitate to leave because he might have a heart attack and I need to be here to dial 9-1-1.

Winning or losing, for an ardent sports fan, it is the last 10 minutes of a game that are the most stressful. Just get home 10 minutes before the end of the game, and definitely before a game goes into overtime.

I did watch NFL until the over paid cry babies started disrespecting our Flag and National Anthem and I haven’t watched a game since. When the owners decide whether they are owners or Nannie’s I may start watching again, not until!

I apparently have a defective sports gene! I keep telling my wife that she is one of the luckiest women in the world since I have zero interest in watching any sports on tv they can fine every day like some I know. She just rolls her eyes and says “WHATEVER!” LOL
