Which do you prefer: wine or beer?

Maybe it’s a daily drink, maybe it’s just once a week… Either way, if you’re drinking, is it wine or beer?

Yes, we know we could’ve given several other options on this poll such as “cocktails” or “something non-alcoholic” or “I don’t drink!” But today we just want to know your favorite between the two. Maybe you don’t have a favorite and you like both equally. Well, we want to know that too!

After you vote, leave a comment and tell us about your favorite winery or brewery you’ve visited on your RV travels. There are so many great ones out there!

Me neither, Had my last beer at a New Years Eve party 1982 ( when I was younger I thought Jack,& Bud was my friends, but after careful conderation I realized, every time I got into trouble I was with Jack, or Bud, or both, so, my common sense told me to put those boys on the shelf !!!) So I did,& haven’t look back!!

Quit drinking in May 78 about 17:00 as I was hanging my head out the window of the Ships Crew bus in the McDonald’s Parking Lot, Pascagoula, Mississippi.

I usually prefer wine, but if I’m at a good craft brewery I’ll take a dark Porter, please.

As my college school song states: “In Heaven, there is no beer…that’s why we drink it here…”

Actually, I prefer Scotch Whiskey, which is probably why I am over 60 days sober

I actually drink whiskey mostly but sometimes wine, both red & white. Will occasionally also have a beer, usually a Guiness.

I never liked wine, always thought it tasted like sweet vinegar. Beer will get me wasted, 3 beers and I’m good for the night. My bride introduced me to blackberry wine after we married, it’s good and we only have 2-3 glasses per month so we are not big consumers. One big bottle will last 2 months or more.

Beer. Had one last month. Wine, very seldom, do not need the drama associated with it.
No hard stuff.

Depends on the situation. If I just got done mowing the lawn on a hot summer day, I’m not going to chug a glass of wine! But after a nice meal a beer is too filling. A nice glass of rhubarb wine for me! My favorite is chilled Rhubarb from Ackerman Winery in the Amana Colonies in Iowa.

in 73-yrs I’ve had alcohol just twice. the first was a small glass of wine at a new years eve party when i was 16 or 17. didn’t care for it at all. the last time I ordered a 7-up at a restaurant but the waitress brought me an alcoholic drink instead. one sip told me it was not 7-up. im proud of my no-alcohol, no tobacco lifestyle!

😆 Yeah, been there, done that, UPRIG. My very strict dad, who was raised in a strict home, had one drink when he was about 20 and he didn’t like what it did to him so he never drank again. When I was middle-aged (I’m 76 now), I mentioned to him that not only did I drink in my early 20s, but I had even gotten drunk a couple of times. I think he was about ready to disown me! He was absolutely appalled! 😆 Have a great day (and I hope you can remember it). 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com

Wine complements a nice steak or fish coming off the BBQ at dinnertime. Now, enjoying a nice cold beer when bbq’ing works well also! When on the road we utilize our bbq much the same as we do at home. Fish, chicken, steak, veggies & dinner rolls all are prepared on the bbq.

Medicines say NO alcohol so don’t drink any. May be a sip of home made rarely.

Gave up all alcohol close to 40 years ago after being a heavy drinker. No one forced me to or suggested I give it up, just decided it was time and had had enough (before I got myself into trouble)!

Beer, every night. Beer is food, food is not beer. :<)

Beer usually but have a glass of wine at times. Whatever you choose be responsible.

Missing option: single-malt scotch.

(I rarely drink anything alcoholic, but when I do, it’s a good snort of the good stuff.)

My wife and I enjoy a beer or wine at the campfire. I like to try some different beers from time to time but my favorite is Potosi Cave Ale and the wife sticks to Crook and Marker Mojito. For wine we go for the Campfire Hooch from Eagles Winery.

Dan

I enjoy both. After a day on the move, a nice cold beer is nice when we get settled in for the night. Sometimes when staying in the same place for a few days we enjoy a glass or two of wine. Just depends on the mood

I am allergic to hops. So wine, hard cider, mead (no hops, some add hops so that it tastes more like beer), and liquor (rarely though).
