Which of these would you prefer for a quick snack?

It’s snack time! The best part (or parts) of the day! Do you agree?

If you were to go into the kitchen right now and grab a snack, what would you most likely grab? A piece of fruit? Some chips or some nuts? A cheese stick from the fridge? A chocolate chip cookie? None of the above?

According to statista.com, the most popular snack in the U.S. is cookies, followed by chips, ice cream, cheese or yogurt, sweets, nuts, chocolate, and dried fruit.

While I prefer “salt and crunch”, the snack depends on what is available. We try not to stock much in the way of “salt and crunch”, but when we do, that’s where we go.

Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 I voted “nuts.” My choice is constrained by what we actually have in our pantry and kitchen and not so much my preference. I also might choose beef jerky, or a few slices of smoked turkey or beef bologna. Have a great day and weekend, and safe travels! 🙂

Deli meat and slice of cheese. Try staying away from late night carbs. Not always successful.

The whole grain, fruit and nut bars. Or cheese and crackers.

I couldn’t vote because you didn’t have an ‘ all of these’ choice. I’m a frequent eater and some days it’s one thing and some days it’s another……2-3 snacks a day is me, and my weight is perfect.

I checked fruits because I am trying to lose weight, but if I wasn’t watching what I’m eating it would be chips, pretzels and/or cookies

The poll wouldn’t download for me, We’ve discovered that chewing while driving helps us stay awake, sugar free gum for short trips, carrot or celery stix, sweet and salty bars, bacon jerky, dh likes potato chips, but I find them too salty, so I will snack on pretzels. Sometimes juice or boost. Sometimes bananas or apples.

Sorry for the delay in responding, Mitzi and Ed. Here’s an explanation from one of our techies awhile ago for why polls sometimes don’t download: “Sometimes script blockers and ad blockers interfere with our polls since they are from a 3rd party site. If you have one of these try and turn it off and see if that fixes the issue.” I hope that works. Good luck! And have a good night. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
