Cheese & Pepper Pasta (Cacio e Pepe)

by Andy Anderson from Wichita, KS

Cacio e Pepe is a restaurant-quality dinner that can be made at home. It’s wonderful for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, an anniversary, or a holiday. Mixing the hot pasta water with Pecorino Romano cheese creates a creamy and cheesy sauce for the spaghetti. You’d never guess there wasn’t heavy cream or milk in the dish. Thanks to a heavy amount of freshly ground pepper it’s a little spicy. It’s a wonderful bowl of pasta. Here’s the recipe.

Spaghetti Alla Carbonara

by Marcia McCance from Stone Mountain, GA

Creamy, savory, and super-satisfying, this spaghetti carbonara is sure to please everyone. The heat of the cooked pasta cooks the eggs and Parmesan cheese to create a creamy sauce. Tossed with smoky bacon and sweet onions, it’s a restaurant-quality recipe. Grab a glass of wine, and you have a delicious date night dinner. Get the recipe here.

Smoky Orzo Casserole

by Lynda Hayes from Port Saint Lucie, FL

Quick and easy to prepare, have this smoky orzo casserole recipe handy for a busy weeknight. It’s simple and sure to please everyone. Super cheesy, Lil Smokies add heartiness and a smoky flavor to the casserole. Crushed butter crackers give it a nice crunch. We loved that this is a smaller casserole so a good dinner option for a smaller family. Click here for the recipe.

Ravioli With Sausage and Peppers

by Cathy Bory from Deer Park, NY

This ravioli with sausage and peppers is an easy meal to throw together. Sausage and peppers is a classic dish and this recipe adds a ravioli twist. Red peppers and onions give the tomato sauce a nice flavor. There is not a ton of seasoning so the hit of basil shines in the sauce. Combined with the Italian sausage and mini cheese ravioli, it’s a comforting dinner. Serving with warm crusty bread is a must. Here’s the recipe.
