Another THOR product and to small!

Looks like the Jayco Hummingbird is one of the reasons they stopped making pop-up campers – the bedrock Jayco was built on. The other reason is the new owner, Thor. Too bad.

They slap the same 13.5 btu air conditioner on all units no matter the size. A trailer this size needs a 6000 btu unit that Dometic markets in Europe. Fewer power needs from the pedestal as well as the external generator. Not good for a boondocker. We have 24 ft TT with a 13.5, never use the boat anchor. I’d rather have a dome and a small 3/4 ton mini-split on the bumper. Oh wait, that won’t work. The manufacturer would have to use a better bumper and mount adding to the cost of the build.
