#1 Solar powered driveway alarms: Robin had an uncomfortable encounter while boondocking this year and wanted to make sure she would know well in advance of anyone approaching her RV again. This gadget does the trick as it will know up to a half mile away of anyone approaching. It also has more than 30 ringtones, such as a dog barking.
Robin shows how to mount it to your RV in the video. She has even used these to determine where mice were getting into her RV!
#2 Jogoswall mini fire extinguisher: Made to put out car fires, this tiny fire extinguisher has adhesive mounts that you can use to put it anywhere where a potential fire might break out. When it senses the temperature going above 300 degrees F, it automatically shoots out fire retardant material. Works on solid, liquid, gas, or electrical fires.
#3 Evapolar portable A/C: This will not cool your whole RV, but Robin says it is a lifesaver in hot, dry weather in small spaces like a car, van, teardrop, or small trailer, or if you are able to close yourself off in a small bedroom. However, it’s not effective in humid climates.
#4 Rocketbook and case: As a writer, Robin loves this reusable notebook and case that keeps all her supplies neatly organized. Reusable notebook? Yes, it is a notebook made from wipe-off boards that come with seven reusable templates. A QR code lets you easily upload anything you create to the internet. Genius!
