Ingenious folding bed platform disappears into the trunk in seconds!

By Cheri Sicard
The video below is from Trunk Mate, a company that makes kits for converting SUVs and minivans into campers. The company demonstrates its ingenious folding bed platform, which provides a comfortable place to sleep and folds away to be stashed in the back or trunk of the vehicle in under 30 seconds. Yes, they do time it!

As you will see, this is a very practical design. The top of the platform folds up, then the bed frame underneath it simply slides in out of the way. That allows you to fold up the van or SUV’s seats to their regular positions, with the entire bed frame stashed behind them.  The trifold mattress sits on top.

But wait, there’s more to this well-designed folding bed platform! It holds three storage drawers where you can stash lots of gear, making it even more functional and practical for van lifers or SUV campers.

Give this short video a view and see how it all works in under 30 seconds.

Cool idea but way too expensive. If you want to sleep in the back of a truck or probably a van check out Flated.
