In the video below, we join Levi Kelly of Levi Kelly Tours [755K subscribers, 136M views] for a tour of the world’s tiniest tiny house, as certified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The teeny tiny house on wheels measures just 19.46 square feet (1.8 square meters). Levi says there is a record for a smaller one, but it is not actually a house like his; it is just a pod you could sleep in.
Levi’s diminutive house might be small, but it does not lack amenities, including a bed, a toilet, an outdoor shower, a kitchen, a heater, and an air conditioner. In other words, you could live in this tiny space if needed.
From the exterior, it does not seem possible. But watch the video to get a full tour of the finished tiny house, along with insight and glimpses of Levi building it.
Levi built the tiny house on a truck-frame trailer because it is a stick-framed house, and he knew it would be heavy. He also added rear stabilizer jacks.
The exterior is covered in black cedar boards. The shingle-covered roof supports two 100-watt solar panels that charge the tiny house’s battery. The outdoor shower is beside the back door.
Inside is small and a bit claustrophobic but, nonetheless, it is stylish and highly functional.
Levi made a lot of wood accents and used more cedar inside the tiny house, along with other woods, such as his Peruvian walnut countertop. Bench seating can seat three people, and there is sleeping for two (maybe two and a kid).
In the kitchen, Levi has a 5-gallon freshwater tank and a 5-gallon gray water tank. He also has a small water heater. The innovative sink is flush with the counter for more space but has a faucet that flips up when needed. He carries a small electric cooktop for meal prep. His small fridge probably holds the record for the world’s tiniest, too, but it allows him to keep a few cold drinks on hand.
What about the bathroom? A portable toilet rides outside the rig in a box on the hitch tongue. You can bring it inside for privacy or use it outside if you are boondocking in the middle of nowhere. Either way, the toilet, and any accompanying odors, stay outside for the most part. Levi says this project cost about $5,000 to build.

When first married, we owned a 32′ x 10′,
single bedroom mobilehome. Using the bathroom needed deciding what you needed to do when inside. 6 winters in NH, worked for us. Paid $2.5k, sold for $2.3k.
Don’t gain any weight.
My king-sized bed is roughly 36 sq ft
Just cut your bed in half and you’d have 1 square foot of space left to live in when you’re not sleeping.🤔 Have a great day, Impavid. 😀 –Diane
