2026 Grand Surveyor 305RLBS—A fifth wheel feel in a travel trailer

Kitchen highlights in the Grand Surveyor 305RLBS

Opposing slides open up a true residential-style workspace. A 22.5 in. by 60 in. butcher-block island includes a removable cutting board and outlet. The undermount stainless sink measures 12 by 20 by 6 in., large enough for pots and pans. Cabinetry features glass inlays and hidden hinges, plus deep 12 by 32 in. floating shelves. Six utensil drawers measure about 11 by 16 by 3 in. A central vacuum by the entry makes cleanup easy when slides come in.

A 10 cu. ft. 12V fridge cools fast and offers deeper storage. The three-burner cooktop adds prep space with its cover, and the oven is large enough for a full-size turkey. A lit pantry includes shelves about 20 by 24.5 in. with 24, 22, and 26 in. clearances.

Living and dining

A freestanding dinette table measures 26 by 38 in., with an ottoman that converts seating to four when needed. Theater seats measure 51 in. arm to arm, with a phone charging pad and cup holders. The trifold sofa opens to a 49 by 72 in. bed, long enough for a six-foot adult. Large campsite windows and overhead storage span about 13 by 93 in.

A swivel smart TV sits over a powerful electric fireplace that heated the room from 56 to 76 degrees during testing. Nice! Soft accent lighting avoids harsh neon. Interior height is 6 ft. 10 in., which gives the space a fifth wheel feel. Three air conditioners include an 18,000 BTU main unit plus two 13,500 BTU units.

Bathroom and bedroom in the Grand Surveyor 305RLBS

A pocket door leads to a roomy bath with a porcelain toilet and 28 in. of knee space. Floor space is about 28 by 32 in. The shower pan is 27 by 34 in. with 80 in. height to the skylight. The fan uses large blades with four speeds. The vanity offers a round basin roughly 10 by 15 by 6 in. and real counter space on both sides.

The slide-out RV king measures 66 by 80 in., creating 34 in. of space at the foot and 15 and 14 in. on the sides. Nightstands include USB, USB-C, and outlets. A deep front wardrobe pairs with a makeup desk at 14 by 28 in., a mirror, plugs, and a second fireplace. A floor-to-ceiling closet brings washer and dryer prep. Shelves are 27 by 28 in. with 19.5, 17, and 44 in. openings, or 28 by 32 by 82 in. if removed.

Exterior and utilities

A tankless water heater provides endless hot water with user-set temps. Two gray tanks are monitored. 12V tank heat pads protect tanks in freezing temps without running the furnace all day. Current units include 400 watts of solar as a limited-time upgrade from 200 watts. Lights can be controlled individually, inside and out.

Solid steps, an electric tongue jack, 20 lb. propane with cover, and a battery disconnect come standard. Two awnings cover the full campsite side. The outside griddle uses a heavy-duty bracket with a side table, plus hot and cold spray port, outlets, and cable. Under-seat storage is large enough for a 50-inch box and hoses.

Six-sided aluminum framing and vacuum-bonded walls use Azdel composite instead of luan, which helps prevent water damage and delamination. A PVC roof reflects heat and needs low upkeep. Goodyear Endurance tires include TPMS. Slides use rack-and-pinion mechanisms for a flush floor and solid feel. The underbelly is enclosed and heated.

The Grand Surveyor 305RLBS nails the fifth wheel vibe in a towable package. Space, storage, and real residential touches make it ready for long trips. With serious construction and smart utilities, Tyler says it feels built to last.
