An in-depth inspection of the new 2025 Winnebago View: Features and flaws

Join us as we conduct a thorough inspection of the 2025 Winnebago View RV. This detailed report will cover its impressive features and highlight areas where we believe Winnebago can make improvements to enhance the overall RV experience. Join us to see all the issues we found that both the manufacturer and the dealership missed.

Exterior inspection

Roof

Positive: The roof is built with high-quality materials and is well-sealed around all fixtures.

Improvements: Enhanced sealant in high-stress areas would help prevent potential leaks. Some items have been incorrectly sealed during production and just left as is. (Would recommend that the owner seek warranty repairs to correct this issue.)

Windows and seals

Positive: The windows are well-fitted, and the initial seal condition is good.

Improvements: Window sealants are missing around the exterior surface, and some seals show early signs of wear; using more durable materials could increase longevity.

Doors and locks

Positive: The doors open smoothly, and the locks are secure.

Improvements: The door hinges could be more robust to prevent sagging with frequent use.

Exterior walls

Positive: The sleek design and durable materials are noteworthy.

Improvements: The exterior finish could be more resistant to scratches and minor dings.

Interior inspection

Living area

Positive: Spacious and equipped with modern, comfortable furnishings.

Improvements: Some storage spaces are difficult to access, and certain amenities could be more user-friendly.

Kitchen

Positive: Well-equipped with high-end appliances and ample counter space.

Improvements: Some cabinets are missing screws during production and the hinges are somewhat flimsy; stronger hardware would improve durability.

Bathroom

Positive: Compact yet functional with quality fixtures.

Improvements: Better ventilation to reduce moisture buildup and potential mold issues.

Bedroom/Living room

Positive: Comfortable sleeping area with plenty of storage.

Improvements: Mattress quality could be improved for better comfort on extended trips.

Oh my Dustin “its a beautiful coach” I feel for the owners that their new coach will spend at least the first year in the dealers shop & then still having most of it not repaired or repaired & still not fixed! We’re in the process of down sizing & those Winnebago camper vans were on the top of our list. Not any more after seeing all the QC issues, so sad what they are making & for 200K+.
Thanks Dustin for the warning

Look at Leisure Travel Vans. better build quality than other RV’s in this category, and there are several different models to choose from. No, I’m not affiliated with them.

A design issue on these is lack of any support on the flexible rubber connection between the black tank and dump valve. Mine came loose at the black tank when I pulled the handle and the whole tank spilled onto the dump pad. Fortunately, it was a well-designed concrete pad and most ran into the drain. I spent 30 minutes with the hose washing the pad and ME down to clean it all up. I temporarily tied the valve up with a rope off my kayak. When I got home, I designed a support using flexible, 1/2″ perforated metal pipe hanger held together with bolts, nuts, and lock washers. I have not had a problem since, but the same lack of support that I found on my 2020 24V is still in photos of 2024s!

I don’t think a report like this should discourage anyone from buying any particular Rv. Most of these appear to be minor and should have been cleaned up by the dealer on receipt from the Mfgr.. reviews like this should be used by a prospective buyer to be alerted for some of the things to look out for and demand the dealer get fixed before payment and delivery or accept the responsibility of being a DIY’r.

Expected quality issues with Winnebago. The majority of the ones I see are of poor quality. You will not get what you pay for. As a service technician I would never buy one.
