Out of these options, which is your favorite cuisine?

This is a hard one to answer, we know. That’s why we gave you two votes for this poll, so you can pick your top two answers, since picking just one may be too hard.

Have you ever been asked the question, “What are your three desert island foods?” Well, what are they? Please leave a comment and tell us, if you were stranded on a desert island and could only eat three foods for the rest of your time there, what three foods would they be?

And while you’re thinking about your answer, go ahead and vote here in the poll below. Which, out of these options, is your favorite cuisine? Is it Mexican food? Chinese food? Japanese food? Greek food?

Seafood should be there, if it has a shell or fins, I love it.

I didn’t think of that one right off, but you are absolutely right about seafood, especially if you are on a deserted island!

How can you not have German on the list? Schnitzel, sauerkraut, rot kohl, rouladen, saumagen, Black Forest Cherry Cake, strudel.

I couldn’t agree more! That is MY other food choice, too.

Agreed, there are not many around either (especially in huge Hispanic areas like Ca.)

I would have chosen that as well. Unfortunately, there are very few German restaurants around.

If I were stranded on that desert island I’d want chicken, chocolate, and McGyver.

I guess whoever made that list never heard of seafood or BARBEQUE. Really? You didnt list BARBEQUE? Here in the heartland smoked meat is one of the basic food groups. For the purists out there, yes, I know BBQ and smoked meat are not quite the same food group. No tofu or kale on my table.

If you supplement with salads every day I think you’d be ok.

My favourite cuisine is whatever the wife cooks up or hashes up … hands-down winner !!!
Mother-in-law and father-in-law couldn’t be beat when it came time for the preparation of the most delicious meals… and their fantastic meal preparation skills obviously passed on to their daughter !!!
Lucky me !!!
PS … whenever you get a chance to dig into a meal cooked by a true Newfoundlander … go for it … you can’t lose !!!

Being a seasonal camper at our campground the ” pot luck ” meals were always the best. I only wish that everyone who made food had a name tag next to it and on a nearby wall had a recipe card on how it was made. If anyone tried and wanted to make it they would write down the recipe. We all got to try out foods from various nationalities this way !
