If you bite your nails, you aren’t alone. It’s said that about 20-30 percent of the U.S. population are nail biters, and up to 50 percent of all teenagers are too. That’s a lot of nail chompers out there!
Are you one of those people that always bite their nails? From anxiety? Boredom? Hunger? Do you bite them sometimes? Never? Please tell us in the poll below.
If you broke your nail-biting habit, please tell us how in the comments—you may help some fellow readers (and staff members) out. Thanks!
“Do you bite your nails?” I think maybe you must be getting short on survey question ideas. How about we stick with rv’ing related survey questions……
Brad, I find it to be a nail biting experience driving my RV thru downtown Atlanta and Nashville.
I bite my nails for over 50 yrs but finally was able to quit a few years ago. I am still tempted occasionally unless I keep my nails very clean and filed. It is a terrible habit and I am proud of myself for finally stopping.
Only if I have broken a nail and don’t have my Clippers.
Yeh, I occasionally bite off a damaged part of a nail and then trim when I get home. Too many snags in golf and tee shirts.
Can’t do it anymore. NO TEETH!!!!
I used to. It was terrible during wrestling season as I would watch my brothers and classmates, just bit them right off. Then one year in high school, I gave it up for Lent. Haven’t done the nail biting thing in over 45 years!
Never nail biter but a big yes on the cuticles. I try not to but let them get a little dry and I’m all over it with my box of band aids. I use all kinds of conditioner for them but nothing so far works very well for any amount of time.
Yes, it is a disgusting habit I know.
Very disgusting, unhealthy habit, period!
I agree with you, however it is a way to recycle protein.
That’s just gross and disgusting, Kelly. 😯 Have a good night. 😀 –Diane
No bites, but I keep them trin and clean.
