I stopped eating meat (for my health) in 1982 and have never regretted it.

Is that why the dandelion crop is getting smaller? Now I have an explanation why less dandelions are in my yard. Lol

Probably just can’t stand the extra b.s. you fertilize with.

Voted ‘the same’, but that leaves one asking ‘what does that mean’? There is a subtle suggestion that this voter might be stubborn in his/her ways and ignoring health-related studies. Could be true. Or could be the other side that the voter moderated his/her intake of red meats much more than 5 years ago.

Writing non-biased poll questions is a tough job. Then again, some pollsters seem committed to deliberately writing biased questions to push a pre-selected view point. The later doesn’t seem the intent here. And yet, I find myself responding to fewer and fewer polls for bias reasons. And when enough people also avoid them, the poll results lose meaning.

I’m eating less of everything, I had a procedure about 2 weeks ago where they duct taped a camcorder to a broom handle and shoved it down my throat to look into my stomach, since then my eating habits have been cut in about 1/2. I have no explanation as to why, but the end result is I’m shrinking in size which is not bad.

We cut back on red meat a long time ago, using pork steak in my frequent cook out adventures, and ground turkey, turkey hot dogs, etc. In the past few years we have returned to all beef hot dogs due to flavor issues, and I am grilling more beef rib eye steaks as frequent alternative to pork steak.

I’ve voted same. The portions are small due to aging but meat is on the plate 7 days a week. 4-6 ounces never over. Just moderation and cooked medium rare. Never over stuff. Oh and a lot of our red meat is venison.

I’d say the same, even though we have 1/2 a steer in the freezer!

On the rare (pun intended) occasion I eat red meat I prefer it to be ethically harvested (hunted, as in venison).
Plant based meat substitutes have come a long way .. Especially ground beef and bacon substitutes.
I’m 73 now and plan on buying gas for my RV adventures well into my 80s while enjoying an almost meatless diet.

Diets don’t necessarily make you live longer, they just make the boredom of your food choices seem like you’re living longer…

I clicked on “more” only because I eat a LITTLE bit of red meat now that I’m regularly donating whole blood to Red Cross. I was rejected a few months ago because my hemoglobin level was just below their minimum level. I started eating more iron-rich foods, including red meat once a week (I avoided it entirely for many years), got the hemoglobin level high enough, and resumed donating blood.

How should I know. I just eat what my wife puts in front of me.

“widowmaker [left descending aorta 95% blocked] changed my eating habits. Almost died like over 90% of others. I like to stay alive a bit longer.

I voted the same but that is less than we used to eat. We cut down many years ago.

Great meat market near us and their steaks and prime burger meat is always amazing! We Barbecue a lot, always our guests love it and we keep a deep freezer well stocked for our enjoyment. Our family has 106 year old top aged life spans, blessed with extremely low cholesterol, and so we thank God for the wonderful bounty he has provided.

Five years ago we had just moved into our newly built house after spending 8 months living in our RV. I now grill much more than then and we eat more red meat thereby. Relative to 10 years ago, we eat about the same.

Probably eat slightly less red meat but have made up the downy with pork and chicken.
