Pick a place in nature you’d most like to spend time

If you had to pick one of the below places in nature to spend some time, where would you pick?

Do you find your peace by the ocean, sitting and enjoying the waves? Or do you find it by walking a trail through a beautiful forest, perhaps in the Redwoods or beautiful lush forests of Washington state? What about being surrounded by mountains? Those jagged peaks really are something… Or is your favorite place to spend time in the desert, among the cacti and gorgeous red rocks?

Tell us in the poll below, and feel free to leave a comment.

We dayhike, so mountains are the most interesting.

I want to live with a freshwater lake outside my door. Watch the storms roll in. Would prefer somewhere on Lake Superior, if it weren’t so cold most of the year!

Right on the ocean at Kalaloch Campground in the Olympic Peninsula. It’s surrounded by forest. Heaven on earth!

For us, the awesome thing is that we lease a site at a year round Campground, that is on a Lake and surrounded by Mountains, in N. Carolina. We couldn’t ask for a more beautiful landscape.

I am including the “fresh water seas” of the Great Lakes in your “By the ocean”. option.

We love mountains, lakes and rivers. We are currently in a great site in McCall, ID looking over the river with lots of pine trees and mountains in the distance. Will be back again next year to stay another month.

That’s a tough question as we live in SW Washington, we have access to all with only a few hours drive. Just lucky I guess.

C’mon down, Impavid! I’ve told you about the stream (Index Creek) that runs through my gorgeous 18 acres of semi-remote mountain property. Now, if I could just get up there to enjoy it instead of just looking at it on my screensaver.🙄😉 Have a great day. 😀 –Mountain Mama

Imagine the anguish if you wanted to choose being on a mountain amongst the pines on the coast……

We are already surrounded by mountains. We can only go up from here.

I prefer to be on the mountain looking down on meadows filled with wildflowers and maybe a river winding through it. I grew up RVing in the mountains of Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

All of them, but I picked mountains because that’s my last stop, where I live….Maybe?

We live in the mountains, so I picked the beach. DW prefers beaches over all else, anytime, anywhere.
