Are you a parent? If so, are you a parent to one child or multiple children? Are you a stepparent?
In this poll, you have the option to select multiple answers. If you have both biological children and stepchildren, feel free to vote for both categories.
As always, we encourage you to leave a comment and share more about your experience. Tell us about your kids—what makes parenting special for you? Are there specific challenges or wonderful moments you’d like to talk about? We look forward to hearing your stories.

We are 79 years old and have grandchildren also.
Jack Russell Terriers- Like toddlers- always in motion and non compliant. And as we get older harder to track down and even harder to catch.
We have 6 girls
2 boys
(All grown)
8 grand children
2 Chihuahuas
We have one child, a boy. I figured out what caused that and fought her off after that. This week we will have been married 55 years
Two now adult children, four (1 step) grandchildren. Proud of them all.
I wasn’t blessed with children, but I have a wonderful fur baby!!!
Thank you, RV Travel! 🙂 No, not a parent. We are on dog #3 and recently acquired 4 barn cats. That is as close as we come. However, DW does take a particular interest in the children of her two brothers. I guess I did, too, until my nephew died three years ago. Thanks again, have a great day, and safe travels! 😉
Neal, it’s always sad when children predecease the parents. It’s not supposed to work that way.
4 – 3 sons and 1 daughter having 4 grandchildren. Jeans, t shirts and sneakers were a lot easier than dresses, accessories and make up but they are all great kids. Would I do it over in this world probably not.
We have a son and daughter, 4 grandchildren all boys. Just to mention cats and dogs are great great but are not children.
They are great if it’s all you can have❤️
No children by choice. My biological clock never really clicked. I did hear it once, the 1st year we were married, setting up the Christmas tree, Bing singing on the CD. I thought wow, maybe I do want kids. I woke up the next morning, and the feeling was gone. Never to tick again. I figured I should listen to that. I’ve thought about it through the years and decided I made the right decision for me. I have no regrets. I have very personal reasons for that decision, and I realize just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I’m retired now. I’m thrilled with my life the way it is and grateful for everyday I have.
Same!
2 sons, 4 grandsons, and as of 3 months ago, a great grand daughter!
Woo hoo! Congratulations, Great Grandpa! Have a great day. 😀 –Diane
Two fine sons with good jobs, great wives, three grandchildren. Sons never gave us a bit of trouble, never smoked, drank, or touched drugs. Raised them in church, were fairly strict but loving with them, had great examples of family members on both sides of their family. I’ve been blessed.
