In our poll below, we’ve listed a few popular places to RV around the globe. Wouldn’t it be fun to RV around Iceland? Or wine-taste around France? Count sheep as you drive the beautiful, narrow roads of New Zealand? We sure think so!
There’s something special about doing something so familiar in an unfamiliar place…
Even if international travel isn’t possible for you right now, hey, it doesn’t hurt to dream! We’re planning about 15 trips in our heads before we fall asleep at night. Are you doing the same?
We know there are hundreds of places you could RV around, but if you had to pick a place from the list below, where would you pick to travel? We’re curious to know.
And, as always, please feel free to leave a comment after you respond. If your dream RVing destination isn’t on our list, tell us where it would be (and why!). Thanks!
Oh, and if you’ve already spent time RVing around your dream international destination, tell us about that, too.

NZ, in a Class B.
I had been in all 50 States, about 36 in a RV but have seen so little of the things to see in this country. I have no desire to visit other countries. Have traveled some in Canada, I would be interested in seeing more of Canada.
I chose NZ but it is a pipe dream. In the next year or two we will RV in Canada. We haven’t decided if we are going out west next summer or Canada.
You didn’t have the US as an option – I am Canadian, so the US is international to me.
As a Canadian who is taking a break from RVing in your beautiful country, I will be exploring Western, Northern and Eastern Canada more extensively. As the second largest country in the world (behind only Russia), there is lots to see and do!
Canada, in my own (not a rented) RV. We live near the border with our neighbor (and let us not forget they have been good neighbors) and while the country is metric, they retain a LOT of non-metric fixtures. 120v-60Hz power, same sockets, same plumbing, same paper sizes, and railroad trackage is still measured in miles.
Love Canada, but since crossing the border is getting harder coming back with US border agents now inspecting Electronics, we will not be going. Really love the Georgian Bay region.
I know I sound like a redneck hillbilly, but don’t care. I am never ever leaving this country to go anywhere, let alone fly anywhere. Don’t have a passport, never will. Most other countries don’t like us, and I feel the same. Plenty here for me to see.
We are the ones that have made other countries dislike us.
You don’t just sound like one.
The question asked about travels in a rv, not in your own personal. So why allow for personal rv in answer?
It also asked and offered five places. Why give a sixth choice?
Australia was always a dream…and, unfortunately, it stayed that way.
Anyone vacationing in Mexico right now is not thinking correctly.
Britain is a dream for me but I’m scared to drive on the left!
Thank you for the question, RV Travel! Canada is the easy choice for me. They drive on the same side of the road and I can drive there. Have a great week and safe travels!
