Do you shower/bathe every day?

Be honest—this is a judgment-free zone. (Remember, we can never see how you vote!) For today’s poll, we want to know: Do you shower or bathe every day?

For some of you, a daily shower is non-negotiable. It’s part of waking up, part of feeling human, and part of starting the day right. Or maybe a shower is part of your bedtime routine. Ah, it makes you so relaxed and sleepy…

For some of you, whether you’re at home or in your RV, skipping a shower just isn’t an option. Nope.

Others take a more flexible approach. Maybe you shower every other day, or only when you’ve been active, sweaty, or heading out somewhere. When you’re RVing, things like water conservation, tank capacity, and travel days can easily shift your routine.

Then there’s the situational factor. Full hookups? Daily showers are easy. Boondocking or dry camping? You might stretch it out a bit, rely on wipes, or wait for the next campground stop. Practicality often wins over habit.

So what about you? Are you a daily shower person, or do you take a more relaxed approach? Go ahead and vote in today’s poll—and thanks for answering honestly.

I only shower a few times a week. I use to shower every day until a dermatologist said it was causing my excessive dry skin. He said showering strips the natural oils out of the skin.

This is the reason I shower only a few times a week. I have dry skin also and reducing the amount of showers has helped.

Reduce the temperature and use a milder soap. Studies have supported these changes to allow daily showers.

Showering in warm — not hot — water and using mild soap or sensitive skin body wash will help prevent dry, itchy skin. Also, applying body lotion all over will help.

Almost everyday. It depends on the activity level. Those days not braking a sweat then a sponge bath at the sink works well also means a day with less lotion. And cuts back on water use and the electric bill.

It depends. If it’s a travel day or otherwise docile/sedentary day, I’ll likely skip the shower to extend days between dumping the grey tank. If we’re hiking or working up a sweat, a good rinse off is certainly a welcomed event.

When I was working, it was every day. Now that I’m retired, at least every other day. Any less than that is just not right.

We live in a dry, cool climate in Colorado. We have “swamp coolers” to add more humidity in summer, in addition to cooling, our house and RV. No need for daily showers when you seldom sweat, especially as long-time retirees. However, we didn’t take daily showers even when we were working every day in air-conditioned offices.

If we dry camp a very quick sailor shower…

Only when needed….means sometimes twice a day in summer when it is hot and sticky,,,,,if it’s freezing out maybe every 3 days. So very much depends.
