Results for the RV Industry Association’s August 2025 survey of manufacturers found that total RV shipments to dealers ended the month with 28,212 units, a decrease of 3.1 percent compared to the 29,105 units shipped in August 2024. To date, RV shipments are up 4.2% for the year with 241,550 units.
Towable RVs, led by conventional travel trailers, ended the month down 4.6% from last August with 25,030 shipments. Motorhomes finished the month up 11.3% compared to the same month last year with 3,182 units.
Motorhomes, as a percentage of all shipments, have been gradually increasing this year. Still, only 618 Class A’s were shipped in the U.S. in August, an average of about 12 a month per state.
Park Model RVs finished August up 33.8% compared to the same month last year, with 400 wholesale shipments.
