An RVing must: Follow RV dump station etiquette
By Gail Marsh
No one wants to be “that” RVer. You may have seen them. They are the ones who don’t know or don’t care about RV dump station etiquette. While some dump sites post rules, not all do. That’s why it’s important to know and follow the proper procedures.
An RV dump station is a designated area for RVers to use for emptying their gray and black water tanks. The minimum dump station will provide a capped sewer drain, while more fully equipped stations will also provide water and hoses in addition to the capped drain.
No matter how the dump station is equipped, RVers should understand that each station is a space that will be shared with others. Because of this, it’s important that every RVer know and follow RV dump station etiquette.

Quick tip
Shoe rack storage hack
Take a hanging closet shoe rack (similar to the one shown), cut it along each row, wire it with a heavy cord (thick string, bungee, you name it), and hang it around the bottom perimeter of your bed frame. This will work for other clothing, organization, art supplies, toiletries, etc., too!

“29 percent have never played golf”. This is hard to believe. I would guess easily over 50%.
Referencing the “Mystery Product of the Day”, I have yet to find anything I would consider useful; however, I still have to have a look every day. Okay, last September there was one thing.
🤣 I never know what it’s going to be until I click on the link to make sure it works when I’m proofing the newsletter. Some interesting stuff, that’s for sure.🤔 Sunny and 60+ here again today. You folks thawing out yet? Have a great day, Impavid.🤗 –Diane
I implemented that shoe storage trick several years ago. It works great, but be sure to mount it as low as possible on the side of the bed. Otherwise you have to lift the bed to get the shoes in and out. THAT stuff gets old quick.
Good point! Thanks, Tony! Have a great day. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
I’ve been on many golf courses, but have actually played golf only a few times!
Trivia. China also has more people than any other country! What’s the actual percentage?
Good point, Bob! Thanks! Here’s a link to a website with the percentage of obesity by country. For adults, the U.S. is #19, and China is #178. Hmmm.🤔 American Samoa is #1, BTW. (I don’t know where that info in the newsletter came from.) Have a good evening/night. 😀 –Diane at RVtravel.com
I just had to check. Obesity in the US is 42.9% China, 8.2%.
We’re #13 out of 190 countries.
Thanks, Bob. The numbers I see on the chart I linked are slightly different, but very close. I think it’s also interesting that in the list I’m looking at, they include the income group. Take care. 😀 –Diane
Suspect. It lists Puerto Rico as a country, it is not. It is an unincorporated territory of the United States, meaning it is not a sovereign country but is governed by U.S. I would personally vote for its independence, and cut all ties to the US.
lol 😀
51st state potential!!!
Thank you, Emily and Diane! I was tempted to buy the mystery product. Instead, I did buy something else, so you’re getting a few pennies from Amazon. Have a great day and safe travels!
