If you are looking for a large 5th wheel—no, make that an ENORMOUS 5th wheel—take a look at the 44-foot-long KZ RV Venom. In the video below we get a tour of this massive luxury toy hauler from the team at Big Truck Big RV (one of the nominees for our 2024 RV Video Awards).
Overall, the entire kitchen in this rig is amazing. It looks like a well-appointed apartment kitchen, not like an RV. There’s a large pantry and a big kitchen island that houses a single farm-style sink. The island also provides additional counter space and a lot of kitchen storage.
The kitchen also includes a massive 12-cubic-foot refrigerator. The bigger the RV fridge, the better, in my book. Even better, I LOVE that it is a gas/electric refrigerator, which is becoming a rare commodity in new RVs. Also rare these days are 4-burner cooktops, but this RV has one and also an oven and an Insignia convection microwave oven.
In addition to the interior kitchen, this 5th wheel also comes with an exterior Greystone pellet grill.
The full bath near the front of the rig provides ample width for a comfortable experience, including a large shower with a built-in seat, a porcelain toilet, and lots of cabinets and drawers.
The bedroom is predictably also large with lots of closets, drawers, and living space.
In the back of the rig, you will find a huge 13-foot garage, which should be big enough to carry all of most people’s toys. Also in this area is a pedestal table you can set up for dining, and a large bed that lowers from the ceiling.
The garage also features a loft area that can provide extra sleeping space for a child, or alternately, a bunch more storage space. You’ll also find a half-bathroom in the garage.
I love the fenced-in back deck that extends the RV’s functionality by providing a lot of outdoor living space.

What’s not to like?
Watch the video as JD talks about some suspension upgrades he would like to see. The I-beam the rig is built upon was also smaller than he thought it would be. With so many large 5th wheels currently having frame issues, I have to say that this would concern me.
I also agree with JD that the living area and seating are just plain awkward. Everyone sitting in a row on a long sofa hardly facilitates interaction.
I do not like the east/west-facing bed in the front bedroom, especially in a unit this large. Loose a little off the garage and give us a north/south bed!
It goes without saying that a massive toy hauler will require a truck with massive towing capabilities.

Thank you, Cheri! My goodness, such a huge RV!?! I wonder how large a truck is needed to safely pull and, more importantly, stop it? 350/3500, 450/4500? The show discount was eye-opening too. It was a 40-percent reduction on MSRP!?! I guess the retailer really wants rid of it. Safe travels! 🙂
Those kind of discounts seem to be common these days. Everyone always freaks out at the MSRP in these reviews, but nobody actually ever pays that much.
A good solid hour of fun watching these monsters park. In our rv park they have to back in. we have pull thru but of course they get gobbled up first. No thanks. My 30 foot is plenty large
