First look at the 2025 Airstream Atlas Murphy Suite, a luxury Class B with slide

In the video below, we join Anthony from Airstream of DFW for a first look at the 2025 Airstream Atlas Murphy Suite, a high-end luxury Class B motorhome.

This is the only Airstream motorhome with a slide, which adds substantial interior space.

The Murphy bed drops down over the sofa and features the Froli spring system. Watch the video to see how.

The kitchen is impressive, and unusual for a Class B in that it’s tucked into a small square space. You’ll find a sink, a 2-burner stove, and a built-in trash can. On the opposite wall sits a large 10-cubic foot, 12-volt refrigerator/freezer, a slide-out pantry, and a microwave/convection/air fryer oven.

The dry bath is even more impressive in both size and style. It features a LARGE shower, plus a toilet, sink, and medicine cabinet.

The rig in the video comes with a propane generator, but know that Airstream also offers an all-electric option. However, the generator version has an auto-start function that will start the generator and cool the rig, an especially important feature if you travel with pets.

There is a lot of exterior storage, especially for an Airstream. However, none of it is pass-through, although that is hardly unusual on a Class B. What is unusual, though, is the extra-long outdoor storage bay that’s big and long enough to easily hold your golf clubs or other sporting or outdoor gadgets.

What’s not to like?

The price. At more than $300k, this is one of the pricier Class B’s on the market.

I will NEVER understand fresh water tanks that are smaller than gray water tanks. In this rig, it’s smaller than the black water tank, too. Nonsensical! More fresh water, please!

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 Greater than $300,000 as an MSRP is daunting. The Airstream brandname still (?) has considerable cachet, but I wonder to what extent Thor’s ownership is being felt, affecting the production quality? This seems a bit of a toy for rich people to own and, if they remember they own it, use once in a while. We would want something with much more square footage for that kind of money. I briefly fed a horse and did some light farm work for a guy who had a black class B Airstream that was parked in an unused part of the horse barn. He lived miles away, but had it regularly washed and serviced. He may have even used it once or twice. 🤔😯 Thanks again, have a great weekend, …

Nice looking unit, but I’m still choking on the price. Regarding smaller fresh than waste tanks, I used to totally agree with you. We recently got a different trailer with 37/43/37 (F/G/B) tanks and I appreciate the larger waste tanks over the 30 gallons each we previously had. We primarily camp in state parks, national forests, or C.O.E. parks where there is usually either a water hookup or hydrants spread around the campground. I find it a lot easier to add fresh water than drive to the dump station or use the honey tote. Some of the NF campgrounds we’ve used do not even have a dump station.

For that price, you could buy the 33′, 4wd, diesel, overlanding version of the Dynamax Super C. Then you would never need to stay in any established campground, much less one with electric hookups or a dump!

Good grief. You fell for a common lie spouted by RV marketing departments. Check the RVIA definitions of RV Classes before writing an article like this. A Class B is built inside the original van chassis body provided by the automotive manufacturer. This is so clearly not that! Find a van from Mercedes, RAM or Ford that is shaped like this rig. You can’t, because Airstream buys the cutaway chassis and builds the “house” on the back. Therefore, it’s a Class C.

Yes and no. I don’t understand the comment about not being able to find a rig shape like this. See leisure travel vans. Airstream copied this and upped the price I am certain by $30-50K. Their interstate is cramped with little space compared with the Wonder or Unity

Total leisure knockoff for no doubt 30K more

A “high” end Class B with a Schwintek slide? Terrible, but probably no room for something dependable.
