Zion Off-Road modular campers grow with you—Whatever your heart or budget desires

In the video below, join the team from Playing with Sticks for a tour of an innovative line of modular campers. These campers from Zion Off-Road make it easy to start small and affordable and add features later as you need them.

There is wisdom in starting small and RVing a bit to discover what you actually do and don’t need in a camper. The answers may surprise you and you may need less than you think. Zion Off-Road modular campers allow you to do that with the security of knowing that you can easily add those extra bells and whistles anytime your heart desires or your budget allows.

Zion Off-Road sells many premade parts and accessories for its modular campers that simply bolt on.

Beyond premade parts, DIYers will appreciate all the track systems and mounting points built into these campers, making them easy to customize just the way you want, all without ever having to drill into the trailer.

What kinds of accessories can you get for the modular camper?

These are just examples of options and accessories—there are more. Also note that modular components go off and on easily and can be moved around and their placements changed for different circumstances at different times.

  • Side accessories system holds a propane tank, water tank, basic tools, and more
  • Rooftop tent for extra sleeping space
  • Offroad fenders
  • Bigger offroad tires
  • Solar panels
  • Inverter
  • Rooftop cross bar mounting system for kayaks and other gear
  • Front tongue storage tray
  • Awning
  • Shower and bathroom area
  • Levelers
  • Back galley in storage area
  • Electrical system
  • Maxx fan vent
  • Queen-sized bed

One of the best parts of these trailers? The price. The base model starts at $12,500. Fully decked out with every available option, the price comes in at around $21,000!

What’s not to like in Zion Off-Road modular campers?

There were a few negative points, unfortunately. While the front, ceiling, and floor of the trailer are well-insulated, the walls are not.

Our host also wishes the inside shelf was stable enough to sleep a child. For many, this will not be an issue.

As someone mentioned on the YouTube stream, all of a sudden these small trailers are popping up all over. Many different brands. But, it takes a special person (or persons) to be able to make these trailers work, Not exactly RVs. Hard-sided tents more closely describe these trailers.

Thank you, Cheri! This is a really great idea. A friend is looking for a truck camper to hunt and fish from. But this might be superior, especially given the price. Thank you for alerting me to it and merry Christmas!
