iPhone users: Meet the tracker that helps you stop losing things

Here’s an item you might not have thought about before, but that’s extremely handy on the road, especially if you have a pet. They are also handy if you regularly misplace your keys, purse, wallet, etc. These small Bluetooth tracker tags, aka “finders,” will alert you to the location of anywhere you put them.

The smart finders are Apple Find My certified. This means there is no installation; simply connect tracker tags via the Find My app that comes with your iPhone. The app’s advanced encryption ensures that only you can access the smart tag’s location, providing better privacy protection.

What I especially like about the UGREEN FineTrack Smart Finder

Provides worldwide tracking!

2-year replaceable battery: Unlike other item finders with non-replaceable batteries or short lifespans, UGREEN’s FineTrack Smart Finder features a built-in low-power chip and a replaceable CR2032 button battery. Bluetooth tracker tags can last up to 2 years. You can check the battery level anytime through the Find My app.

Certified safety with childproof design: UGREEN’s FineTrack Smart Finder has obtained UL4200A certification, which can prevent children from easily opening the cover and accidentally swallowing the button battery. The structure is safe and sturdy, ensuring that the Bluetooth smart tag can withstand bumps and better protect the safety of your family and property.

Global tracking: Track your lost item anywhere in the world via the Find My app (Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, or Mac must be nearby).

Smart alerts: When the lost item is close, you can play a loud sound to locate it quickly.

Left-behind alerts: Features a “left-behind” reminder, notifying you when you leave items behind at a certain distance.

Small size: With its compact and slim design (1.34 x 1.34 x 0.59 inches), it is easy to attach to important items like keys, wallets, luggage, and pet collars. The item tracker also comes with stickers for customizable labeling.

What can be improved?

These ONLY work with Apple products, so if you have an Android, you are out of luck.

Might try one. I have Apple Air Tags hidden in both my vehicles, my travel trailer, and my generator. I also have a Key Smart, Smart Card in my wallet. It works like an Air Tag but looks like a credit card. SmartCard

We’ve had them in our luggage and backpacks for years but after our e-bikes were stolen last week, we purchased a few more to add to both of our new e-bikes (along with motion alarms for them and our Starlink dish/mount)!

Thank you for the discussion, Cheri. DW has an iPhone and added a similar product to dog #3’s collar. After leaving him crated in the RV with the air conditioning set at an appropriate level, we left to sight-see using DW’s phone for directions. I was surprised by the “dog #3 left behind” message that appeared on her phone within minutes of leaving the RV. Pretty cool. Have a great week and safe travels!

I just received 2 Trackers today. Easy to set up and works just like an Air Tag. Kind of looks like a Key Fob and not a tracker. I have my phone number on the back of both vehicle key fobs which should help if I do lose one. Adding the Tracker makes it that much more secure.

I have AirTags on my key rings because I have picked up a terrible habit of mindlessly setting them down without remembering where. They’ve come to the rescue a couple of times!
