5 inexpensive but essential RV kitchen accessories you need

By Cheri Sicard

In the video above, Jason and Emma, aka The Roaming Russells, discuss what they consider to be five essential RV kitchen upgrades. Of course, if they are needed will depend on your RV, as some RVs begin life with better kitchens than others.

Emma says these five RV kitchen upgrades won’t cost all that much, but they will greatly add to your RV kitchen’s functionality.

Here are 5 essential RV kitchen accessories

#1 Expandable dish drying rack: This adjustable rack will fit most any sink and helps free up significant counter space in small RV kitchens.

#2 Pantry and food storage:

These are the items the Russells use to keep their RV pantry space neat and organized:

#3 Patio door latch: This may not seem like a kitchen item, but Jason used it on a large pantry box he built that adds storage space where there used to be a large TV in the RV. Smart!

#4 Tupperware Fridge Smart produce containers: Extend the life of fresh fruits and vegetables while organizing your RV’s fridge with these awesome “smart venting” containers. Be sure to watch the video for an impressive demonstration of what these can do.

#5 Sink strainer: This small item can make a big difference as it keeps food particles from going down the drain, thereby reducing bacteria growth and gray tank odors!

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 We have some of those features already and others seem less important. However, the drying rack really caught my eye, as did the smart-venting food containers (until I saw the prices). Thank you for sharing the video and, even moreso, repeating their list. Thanks again, safe travels, and happy Easter! 🙂
