Video: Tour the 2017 Winnebago View/Navion Itasca

Take a tour of the Winnebago 2017 View/Navion 24G Class C motorhomes in this video from Winnebago Industries. These RV cousins (both from Winnebago Industries), feature a unique two-slideout design on the Mercedes Sprinter Chassis. Winnebago was the first major U.S. RV maker to build motorhomes on the popular Sprinter chassis, and today still builds half the models on the platform. In this informative video, Winnebago product manager Russ Garfin shows off the 24-foot coaches’ major features.

I don’t know how Mr. Garfin can tout the “quality” parts that Winnebago installs in its coaches with a straight face. The only quality part of our 2015 View V is the Mercedes under it; almost every other installed part i.e. cabinet latches, backup camera, A/C fan, upholstery, ad infinum, have proved to be of low quality, bad design, or simply don’t work.
This doesn’t have to be; we as the unlucky purchaser, can spend a considerable amount of time and money upgrading and installing real “quality” parts to make our View functional.
Never again!

As a counter point, we own a 2016 24V View, that exceeds all our expectations as we down sized from a Fleetwood Bounder 36M. Class A. The absolute “quiet” ride from the mpg miser diesel is more than we could dreamed of. . we have not experienced any product failures that you mentioned. We truly hope you were able to get these corrected while the factory or your extended warranty was in place.
