If you like the idea of taking a group of friends or a big family on the road, the Axiom Vendetta was designed for you.
This luxury toy hauler/fifth wheel pushes the boundaries of RV space to what you might expect in a park model RV. It also allows plenty of storage so you can carry gear, cook real meals, and still have room to spread out.
Specifications
Here are the specs for the Axiom Vendetta:
• Overall length: 47’2″
• Exterior height: 13’5″
• Width: 8’6″
• Interior living ceiling height: 9’10” (Not a misprint. It’s really tall!)
• Garage ceiling height: 9’10”
• Main slide ceiling height: 8’6″
• Upper deck ceiling height: 7’7″
• GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating): 27,000 lbs.
• Axle count: triple axle
• Sleeping capacity: up to 12 (That’s big, all right!)
• Typical available features: large fresh and gray water capacities, factory entertainment package, and solar support on base trims
What stands out
Axiom pitched the Vendetta at owners who want residential volume and storage in a towable platform. You’ll find very tall interior ceilings, a rear garage that doubles as a living/gear space, and built-in systems aimed at making long stays comfortable.
The interior layout emphasizes a communal living area with reclining seating and a big entertainment setup. If you tow with a heavy-duty truck and need to transport toys plus people, this unit is built to be your mobile base.
Pros
Here are some features that impressed me:
• Real residential feel: Ceilings and slide heights give a much more open feel than typical fifth wheel living rooms and bedrooms.
• Designed for big groups: Layout and seating keep large groups together comfortably without constant juggling of sleeping spots. (I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable driving this behemoth down the highway, though.)
• Built-in power/comfort systems: Patent-pending rear-mount generator configuration plus mini-split HVAC are intended to improve off-grid comfort and usable storage.
Cons
• Tow and campsite limitations: The GVWR and overall footprint make this a heavy, long unit that requires a very capable tow vehicle and careful campsite selection.
• One bathroom for a large sleeping capacity can be a real bottleneck for big groups unless you plan staggered shower schedules.
• Price and options: Early press coverage indicates premium pricing for base and optioned models. Unless you regularly camp with lots of people, there are other toy haulers that may be a closer “fit” for you.

You know it’s bad when these guys did such a lousy job at Thor that Thor actually took ’em behind the woodshed and gave ’em what for and then took all their toys away and made them leave the sandbox. And now they want to start their own company without adult supervision? Even if it’s not Halloween I’m still scared! 😱
Sounds like this toy hauler is appropriately named. But is it a vendetta against Thor, or based on Tony’s analysis, a vendetta against common sense?
I believe RV marketers think toy haulers only appeal to men with too many firearms (and I’m a former Army officer). They name them Explosion, Ambush, Outlaw, Stealth, Rogue Armored, Shockwave, etc. Personally, I wouldn’t buy any of those just because of their names. Hey, RV industry, how about naming them after exotic places to use those toys–Moab, Mohave, Ouray, Backwoods, Whitewater, etc.?
Could work for bands on tour, but it won’t last long if it’s on the road constantly. Good luck trying to find a place to park it.
Why no CCC rating? I am sure I know why!
Toy hauler, frame flex equals RUN.
Hope that who ever buys this learns to keep an eye out for low bridges like the one in lansing Michigan. It’s called Penny and it loves all those big vehicles coming thru. Shes 12 ft
Considering how over-the-top this is, and how many it otherwise accommodates, having only one bathroom is a complete deal-breaker.
