What’s better than eating pizza? Having pizza delivered right to your door! And what’s better than having pizza delivered right to your home door? Having pizza delivered right to your RV! Yes, it’s possible!
Have you ever ordered pizza while you were staying in your RV and had it delivered? You could pick it up, but who wants to leave “home” if you don’t have to?
Of course, getting pizza delivered to an RV site isn’t always as simple as ordering from your usual spot back home. Some campgrounds have strict rules about deliveries, requiring you to meet the driver at the entrance. Others, especially those in more remote areas, might not have any pizza places nearby that offer delivery at all.
And then there’s the fun of trying to explain to the delivery driver exactly where to find your site—“Take a left at the bathhouse, go past the row of fifth wheels, and I’m in the motorhome with the flamingo lights.”
Still, for many RVers, the convenience of delivery is worth it. After a long day of hiking, driving, or just relaxing at the campsite, a hot pizza showing up at your door (or at least the front office) can feel like a small luxury. Plus, sharing a pizza around the campfire or enjoying it under the awning just adds to the experience.
So, have you ever had pizza delivered to your RV? Was it easy, or did it turn into a bit of an adventure? Vote in our poll and share your experience in the comments!

Order pizza and deny myself something I can actually use the oven for other than bread storage? No way! LOL
Never camp within the delivery circle.
Never will order food delivered to RV. More fun to explore local restaurants. Find the working pick-up trucks and try there.
I always drove to pick up my pizza. As to directions, I forever love the: “Turn left where the red barn used to be.”
Good morning, Impavid. That reminds me of something from when the Beatles were first starting out. Apparently, they had recently visited the U.S. Reporters asked them how they found America (i.e., if they liked it or whatever). But John Lennon responded, “Turn left at Greenland.”🤣 Have a great day! 😀 –Diane
Not only have I ordered pizza delivered to my camper, people camping nearby have had pizza sent to my camper. I usually have the only airstream (the silver camper) and it is easy to find. People have always paid me with a slice of the pizza btw.
Never a pizza but we did order Catfish dinners at a COE campground. The camp host would not let the delivery drive enter to deliver to our campsite. By the time we got our dinners we had to reheat them. Not so tasty!
Yup…several times. We were in or close to small towns and Friday is Pizza Night. Why is ordering pizza to a campsite odd?
Many, many years ago we were on a car trip out west (before we started motorhoming) staying in motels. We asked the desk clerk about pizza and he gave us a phone number to call. Turned out that was a resident who made pizzas upon request so we placed an order and was told that she would deliver to our motel. PERFECT!
When the pizza was delivered it was uncooked! We assumed it would be baked but no worries…the lady took the pizza back to her place and baked it for us…no extra charge, Ya gotta love small towns.
I always try to stay on the back roads and visit the businesses. Pizza or a great small town breakfast, along with the folks living there.
Yes, Oasis RV Park (or whatever it’s called now) just west of Amarillo has pizza delivery.
I once stayed at an RV park with its own pizza delivery restaurant. After a long day out, getting a pizza delivered to my door was heavenly.
Have never ordered any food to the camper. I know some people have mobility issues that need and appreciate that service. I don’t and haven’t got that lazy. Either I make it or go retrieve it my self or pick it up on the way back from exploring.
Count me out for food delivery. If I’m not cooking my own food, (incl. pizza) I want a sit down restaurant. (None of this drive thru, eat in your vehicle either). Dining out should be special, have table service and take the extra time to enjoy the food and atmosphere.
BTW, cooking pizza in our motorhome oven is easy to do. Just did so while the USA hockey team was being honored for beating Canada during the SOTU. Pizza for two fits fine in our oven.
We never eat in our vehicle – I’m too picky (anal) about keeping it clean !
We have not ordered delivery pizza to our RV, but some campgrounds do have fresh hot pizza – we usually go up once or so during our stay for pizza and to meet other RVers
