Delicious pepperoni recipes that aren’t pizza

Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels

by Victoria Baldwin from Augusta, GA

These pepperoni pizza pinwheels will satisfy even your pickiest eaters. Slices of pepperoni, sauce, and cheese are wrapped in pizza dough and sliced to form pinwheels. Once baked, the golden brown crust is a little chewy and the cheese oozes out. Quick and easy to throw together, they’re a delicious appetizer. Or, serve with a salad for a meal. So yummy! Grilled Cheese Pizza Supreme

by Cara J. Mastrangello from Albany, NY

This grilled cheese is like a supreme pizza in a grilled sandwich – a fantastic idea! We loaded our sandwich with all the suggested toppings and fell in love. But tailor the sandwich with your favorite pizza toppings. Buttery grilled sourdough holds in the gooey cheese, hearty pepperoni, and salty prosciutto. Fresh basil adds a pop of flavor. We added a little sauce inside the grilled sandwich and served some on the side for dipping. If you don’t have a panini press, these can be grilled in a skillet. Here’s the recipe.

Pepperoni Pizza Dogs

by Barbara Lentz from Beulah, MI

If you have children in your life, you know almost all kids love both pizza and hot dogs. This may sound different, but it’s surprisingly good and combines the best of both worlds. It’s a whole new twist on pigs in a blanket. The crescent roll dough is stuffed with a hot dog, cheese, and pepperoni. At the end of baking, it’s topped with extra sauce and cheese to make things super yummy. After the baking process, the hot dog gets a little crisp. Great for an after-school treat, weeknight meal or a game day snack. Kids can help prepare them too. Get the recipe here.

Air Fryer Pizza Chicken

by Robyn Bruce from Linglestown, PA

The blend of seasonings in Robyn’s creative air fryer chicken pizza is spot on. You’ll forget you’re even eating chicken. It really does taste like pizza… but with a little less guilt. We tested with pepperoni, but add your favorite topping. A super simple dinner recipe. Here it is.

Pizza Casserole

by Cathie Valentine from Graniteville, SC

A quick, easy, and delicious casserole recipe all busy cooks should have in their recipe box. Basically, whatever you love on your pizza you can include in this casserole. So, it can be easy or elaborate – whatever you have time for. In the Test Kitchen, we used all the suggested veggies and loved it. The mixture of ground meat and pork really adds a different flavor. Pepperoni mixed in gives the casserole a little zip. Mozzarella cheese bakes to bubbly perfection. We opted to add mini pepperoni on top to make the casserole pretty, but that step is not needed. Super yummy! Click here for the recipe.
