I hope this makes other chains get involved with this rv concept.
Love’s sites maybe overpriced. We have stayed at many RV parks with FHU for less.
No way!
$50/night to sleep in a noisy, crowded truck stop?
To hear the refrigerated trucks hammer all night long while smelling the diesel fumes?
They don’t even offer pull through spaces.
They do in Sweetwater, TX but it’s the only one I’ve seen like that.
I like this idea. Grab fuel on the way in or out, easy check in, great for travel days. I looked for locations on both of our last 3,000 mile trips but none were on our route. Hoping for more locations soon.
If you can get any sleep at a Love’s you are a better man than I Charlie Brown.
I have used the Love’s RV Stop in Sweetwater, TX (off I-20) and it was awesome because it is located behind the travel stop so it’s quieter. Getting in and out of the pull-through spot while traveling was easy. It was also rather pricey at $50 per night. I have checked out some other Love’s RV Stop areas during my travels and am not impressed. They tend to be closer to the pumps and are mostly back-in spots. I’m not going to pay $50 per night for that.
Thank you, Russ and Tina! We have been known to pass tbrough tbere. Have a great week and safe travels!
