Today’s RV review is of the forthcoming Brinkley RV Model G 3250 (pdf). Brinkley RV currently has three major product lines, the Model Z AIR travel trailers, the Model Z fifth wheels and the Model G. Thus far, everything under the “G” designation has been a toy hauler. A big toy hauler.
These are triple-axle units with large garages capable of hauling larger toys like side-by-sides—that sort of thing.
They also have developed a reputation for having very plush interiors, not something typical of a toy hauler.
What you have here is the bones of the Brinkley Model G 3950 but with a lot of the back removed. The parts that remain include the drop-down patio deck, the three-axle chassis and even a generator with a gasoline tank, though that generator can also feed from the propane tanks.
The back part where the toys had gone has been cut way down in size and Brinkley put in a countertop under which there are drawers and a wine cooler. You see, you have a space for a party back here. But, like a mullet haircut, there’s also work. So business in the front, party in the back. But, well, it’s all in the back. And it’s not anywhere near a mullet.
What I’m going on about is the fact that there’s also a desk back here. That desk is on a power lift mechanism so you can have a seated desk but also a standing desk. Nice!
There’s also a sliding window between this space and the main living space, so you could prepare meals or snacks in there and pass them back here to where the party is. Interestingly, these sliding window panes can be lifted out—and Brinkley even provided a cabinet in which to store them. This company is very, very detail-oriented.
Main living space in the Brinkley Model G 3250
Inside, you’ll find a very pleasant interior and one with some more innovative features.
The kitchen on this is toward the back of the main living space and features a U shape. A counter runs along the back wall of this space under that window with the removable panels, so you literally could pass things back and forth.
Someone at Brinkley is thinking because, not only are all the components top-drawer, but then there are these top drawers. Well, not really drawers, but they do flip down from below the cabinets and that’s where you have spots for utensils and such. Typically, this is not a space that I’ve seen used in cabinets—but it’s used here and used very well.
Another place where they’ve done things unusually is in the dining space. I detailed this in my story about the Brinkley Model Z 2900, but know that it can be a bar, dining table or another desk.
You can get this with either a U-shaped lounge or a seating system with dual recliners. Know, though, that if you move a lot, that lounge is going to become tiresome with all the maneuvering you’ll have to do to get the opposing slides in.
Power options in the Brinkley Model G 3250
Interestingly, this comes with a GE household refrigerator, which flies in the face of many newer RVs coming with 12-volt refrigerators. But Brinkley has a different idea. First of all, this fridge has an Energy Star rating for efficiency of operation. Most 12-volt DC fridges do not.
For power, there are 800 watts of solar standard on this rig with a 60-amp charge controller, so you could add more if you wanted. There are also 200 amp hours of lithium battery aboard as standard from the factory. You also get a 3,000-watt inverter, but Brinkley is doing one more thing that sets it apart.
This also comes with a DC-DC charger so you can rig up your tow vehicle to charge the batteries as you’re shuttling down the road. Depending on the tow vehicle, this could provide a tremendous amount of power—much more than the solar alone.
Oh, and then there’s that dual-fuel generator on board, as well.
I will say, I have my trepidations about GE appliances in general and am particularly wary of residential refrigerators in moving vehicles. However, as for powering it, you have one incredible system.
It’s not a toy hauler
I have been wanting a patio deck RV for years. There are lots of buyers who want that open-air patio deck and this is configured to take full advantage of that. It can haul smaller toys like bikes or kayaks, but it’s not really a toy hauler, per se.
As for other details, they are similar to the ones I explained in the Brinkley Model Z 2900 that I wrote about recently regarding construction, suspension, and that sort of thing. So, if you haven’t read that review, check it out as I think it’s worth learning more about how this company builds things.
There are nifty drawers under the outside pass-through for additional storage, which I’ve never seen before. Plus, the cord reel is on a 12-volt power actuator.
Oh, and this has those power-operated gate valves, as well.
I think this answers the question that some of us have asked and, seeing this, I hope more manufacturers adopt this type of configuration. In fact, the first place I have seen a travel trailer that has a drop-down patio ramp is with the Ember RV 240TKR, which I crave. This Brinkley is way more RV than I would ever want myself. But I know there are folks who will gobble this up. Different strokes and all.
My thanks to Josh from Bish’s RV for the video and several photos in this article.

Love it, but not the price..
Saw this on Josh’s Youtube review. My wife and I both felt it didn’t have an open feel. It is like a house jammed with rooms and walls vs an open floorplan. And $200k??? And get ready to buy a very capable tow vehicle on top of that.
Nope, didn’t like it.
22000# GVW. Gonna need a semi to pull it. Based on accepted pin weight estimates, that’s close to 5500# pin weight. At least a 450 or 550 diesel. $200k for 5th wheel plus $125k for truck. Plus 38 foot long – nope
Plus based another article in today’s newsletter about RV sales crashing, seems like a questionable move by Brinkley
Just ordered the 2025 g3250 and gladly paid the extra $24,000 for the paint upgrade
So very much worth it. This will be my 5th ever trailer in 15 years and the best yet
Thank you, Tony! This certainly seems lavish. I gather that Brinkley typically has strong quality control at the factory (despite a recent and large recall). In light of Steve’s comment, perhaps this gets taken somewhere and set up with the idea to move nevermore (or until it gets sold or traded in 10 to 20 years hence). It certainly is an impressive RV! The storage tank capacities are huge! Thanks again, have a great day, safe travels, and safe stays! 🙂
Too big for me.
Price aside, I think Brinkley has catapulted themselves to the top of quality RV manufacturers.
If I wanted a 38′ long, 22,000#, $200,000 RV, it would be a motorhome, not a fifth wheel requiring a Volvo bobtail diesel truck, costing another $150,000, to tow it. I guess if you were a full-timer who only moved twice a year–south in the fall and north in the spring–and could hire a commercial driver to haul it on those two trips, maybe this Brinkley would fit your “camping” style. IMHO, this is NOT a “camping” RV, despite the HUGE tanks, fairly large solar, generator, and 3KW inverter because of the too limited Li battery capacity. I wouldn’t want to be parked near this firth wheel in a dry cg. or at Quartzsite because the generator would be running constantly!
Pull out storage trays directly below wet bay and power cable? Hmmmmn
