In the video below, we join Cam Hilliard from Miller’s RV in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for a tour of the tiny 2024 Braxton Creek Bushwhacker Plus 17MB travel trailer.
While Braxton Creek is known for its teardrop trailers, this model features a more traditional trailer shape. However, unlike most traditional trailers, this one’s entry door is on its back wall. This is smart and helps to open up the interior space and utilize it well.
Inside you have a small dinette that converts to extra sleeping space. There’s a nice amount of storage underneath the dinette.
The kitchen has more counter space than my larger trailer does. There’s a 2-burner cooktop, a microwave oven, and a respectable-sized 12-volt fridge.
There’s also a small but functional wet bath.
The star of this tiny trailer is the living/bed area. During the day you have a comfortable sofa. At night, a Murphy bed drops down from behind.
The outside storage area is not quite a pass-through, but it is surprisingly large for such a small travel trailer.
On the exterior door side of the trailer, you will find a 22-inch Blackstone griddle on a pullout drawer. The drawer also conveniently holds a small portable sink.

More nice features of the 2024 Braxton Creek Bushwhacker Plus 17MB

What’s not to like?
Eighteen gallons of fresh water is a little light. I would have preferred somewhat smaller black and gray water tanks and a larger fresh water tank.
The kitchen sink is just too small, which is a frequent gripe I have with a lot (but not all) tiny RVs.
I hate wasted space in RVs and it appears that there is room for two more storage cabinets on either side of the bed. Alas, it’s just bare walls.

Thank you, Cheri! 🙂 I really like the size. Yes, 18 gallons is too little freshwater capacity, especially with both waste tanks 23 gallons. I more expect the sum of the waste tanks to approximate the freshwater capacity. Maybe it is targeted at heavy beer drinkers who poop and shower but never drink the water? 😉 I’ll see what Dan makes of it, but it seems promising as a base from which to fish and hunt, given its small size. Thanks again and safe travels!:-)
