When we polled our readers about their favorite hobbies while RVing, crochet topped the list. Therefore, I thought the video below might interest our crocheting readers in that it shares three great practical organizing crochet projects that are not only decorative and fun to make, they will help keep your RV neat and organized.
Yes, the video claims five patterns, and it does indeed share five. However, it was made during COVID-19, and the mask keychain holder no longer seems necessary. Also, it’s a bit of a misnomer as face scrubbies, great as they are, aren’t really an organizing project. But the other three projects are terrific organizing crochet projects for RVers (or homeowners, for that matter)! They are all quick and easy to make and would also make great gifts.
Our hostess, Ashley, is the crochet designer at A Crafty Concept. All the patterns she highlights in the video are free. The descriptions below provide links to the pattern pages for each.
#1 Nesting baskets: Point 0:52 in the video. Three sturdy, double-walled crochet nesting bowls fit inside one another when not in use to conserve space, but provide lots of versatile storage when you need them.
#2 Hanging crochet basket: Point 1:50 in the video. This handy hanging crocheted bag is made from a cleverly folded and sewn square. Use a Command hook to hang whenever extra storage is needed.
#3 Bedside caddy: Point 4:32 in the video. This versatile crocheted caddy can go over the side of a bed, sofa, or armchair to keep frequently used items neat, organized, and at hand.

Thank you, Cheri! Hmm, … I admire her creativity. They certainly are useful projects, but don’t fit DW’s RV decorative scheme. I am sure that they will fit that of many, just not ours. Have a great weekend and safe travels!
