It’s bad enough if your motorhome is recalled for an airbag issue. It’s even worse when it has to go back yet again because people didn’t follow instructions. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Revel Sport, 2024-2025 Vita, 2025 Porto, Adventure Wagon, 2024-2026 View, Revel, Navion, and EKKO motorhomes previously repaired incorrectly under Recall 24V318.
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) wires can be caught in the seat mechanism when the driver or passenger seats are adjusted. In the Winnebago air bag recall of 2025, damaged wires can prevent air bags from deploying in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. The company says 100% of 2,119 motorhomes are affected by this recall.

Airbag recall “Déjà vu all over again”—Why?
On May 7, 2024, Winnebago announced a safety recall (Recall #185) because of a problem with air bags not deploying properly in some of their vehicles. The issue was caused by incorrectly routed wires.
On April 22, 2024, Winnebago stopped shipping the affected vehicles. Then, on June 6, 2024, they launched a plan to fix the problem on the vehicles that had already been built.
However, in early June 2025, a dealership reported the same air bag issue again. It turned out that the production team didn’t follow the fix instructions correctly. Winnebago started a new investigation and again put a hold on the affected vehicles.
On July 15, 2025, Winnebago’s Product Safety Committee decided the problem posed a serious safety risk. So far, they’ve received one complaint but no reports of injuries or property damage.

Thank you for the news and implicit warning, Russ and Tina! Oopsie. Rats! Hate it when that happens. Again, very glad this information is reported here, and again, as is typical, well ahead (~2 months) of the company’s notification letters. Have a great day and safe travels!

The fact is Winnebago did respond before there were any known disasters. That is being a responsible company protecting their customers as well as their potential liability. It is a win win for everyone involved. Seems there is a silver lining to every dark cloud – even is some can’t see it! (Where is the list of Thor et al recalls)?
Can you recall when a recall had a recall?
