If you’re a couple looking to step up your RV game without going overboard on size, the 2026 KZ RV Domani DM241ML might just be the ticket. (If you’re not familiar with the Domani name, it’s made by KZ RV, a division of Thor Industries.)
Designed from the ground up to blend stylish design with practical living space, the 2026 KZ RV Domani DM241ML is ideal for RVers who plan extended trips or weekend getaways and don’t want to compromise on comfort. While it technically sleeps up to four, I think the 2026 Domani DM241ML is best suited to a solo RVer or a couple.
Behind the walls
The DM241ML comes from KZ RV’s brand-new Domani lineup. According to the manufacturer, the design is yacht-inspired to offer a premium feel and elevated finishes in a travel trailer package.
Its structure uses aluminum framing with laminated Azdel composite panels. This gives you durability, good insulation, and resistance to moisture and warping over time. The roof uses a Tufflex™ PVC membrane with a lifetime warranty, and the underbelly is heated and insulated for all-season use.
There’s one slide on this floorplan, which is cleverly placed to open up the main living area and make day-to-day life feel roomier than you might expect in a 28-foot trailer.

Interior and living space
Step into the KZ RV Domani DM241ML and you’ll instantly notice how bright and open it feels. The overall vibe is contemporary with plenty of windows and light tones that avoid that “boxy trailer” feel.
Headroom is generous in most areas, and the single slide really opens up the center of the coach. While compact, the interior feels purposeful and surprisingly comfortable.
Kitchen
The compact kitchen sits toward the rear and comes loaded with features you’d expect in higher-end RVs. You get solid surface countertops with a deep undermount utility sink, a three-burner range with oven, microwave, and generous pantry space. The 10-cu.-ft. 12-volt refrigerator gives you enough capacity for extended trips without constantly restocking.
Living room
This is where the single slide makes such a difference. It expands the living area across from the kitchen with booth dinette seating and theater seats, giving you options for lounging, dining, or watching the 50-inch smart LED TV. (I’m not a fan of the televator, but do appreciate having a large window in this area for breeze and light.)
The dinette can convert to extra sleeping space if grandkids come along occasionally.
Bath in the KZ RV Domani DM241ML
The bathroom is situated mid-coach in the Domani DM241ML. I expected a wet bath setup but was pleasantly surprised by the 30″ x 36″ shower, separate porcelain toilet, and vanity.
Storage is lacking in this mid-bath. It’s inconvenient to store toiletries outside the bathroom, but that’s what this mid-bath design requires. It’s something to keep in mind.
Bedroom
Up front, the private bedroom makes a great retreat at the end of the day. Sliding doors separate this space from the rest of the coach, which helps with privacy and noise control (one of the first things I look for in any RV).
The standard king bed offers real comfort. (You may not need to buy a replacement mattress!) Storage options include wardrobes on either side, though they seem a bit small to me. I like the compact cubbies positioned on each side of the bed near the window. Each cubby space has everything you need to charge your devices.
I’m not sure if a CPAP machine will fit into a cubby, so you’d need to find a solution—perhaps fit the machine in the overhead cabinet and thread the air hose through a hole drilled in the bottom of the cabinet.
Overall take on the 2026 KZ RV Domani DM241ML
For the price and footprint, the 2026 KZ RV Domani DM241ML is really a great travel trailer. It feels more upscale than many competitors I’ve toured. The layout is excellent for couples who want comfort on the road without having to step up to a massive fifth wheel.
If you want a stylish trailer that doesn’t sacrifice practical features, this one deserves a hard look.

Looks pretty nice, but not a fan of the bed where you have to crawl over the other person to get out.
The floor plan shows a walk around bed.
The only problem I can see is the outside door in the bedroom needs a pull down blackout shade.
They also could have removed the tailpiece on the bathroom counter and put a shallow floor to ceiling cupboard in.
The video doesn’t show a walk around, but agree on the window, especially with the door so close to the bed.
The video shows access to both sides of the bed.
Nice looking package. Similar to our 2019 freedom express 276RKDS
Since they give you 2100lbs CCC, I would expect a little more storage, especially in the bedroom. They offer this as a couple’s trailer, but what they don’t take into account is that couples often need more clothing storage than kitchen storage. Since I travel by myself, I still do not see enough closet space. They do not take into account that a woman would want space for dresses. Those little closets will hold a man’s medium-sized polo shirt. Anything longer would curl at the bottom.
