Brinkley Model Z 2900—Luxury fifth wheel that feels like home

The Brinkley Model Z 2900 packs a lot into 32’11”. With three slides, a residential look, and a long list of standard features, it feels much bigger than its footprint suggests.

For shoppers who want a fifth wheel that can handle weekends, long trips, and even multi-season use, this one checks a lot of boxes. That RV Girl gives us a full tour in the video at the end of this post.

Exterior features that make travel easier

Up front, the CURT Helux™ pin box helps cut down road shock while towing. That matters on a fifth wheel with a hitch weight of 2,193 pounds.

Setup is also simple. The 2900 gets hydraulic wide-stance jacks, auto-leveling, a battery disconnect, standard roof solar with an expandable controller, and generator prep. Around the side, there is shore power, a Furrion on-demand water heater, and large basement storage with two baggage doors.

That storage area does more than hold gear. It includes a 65-foot retractable hose, hot and cold outdoor shower, electric tank valves, the Nautilus water management system, outlets, and QR codes that link owners to Brinkley’s guides. A rear observation camera, roof ladder, rear cargo compartment, and KeBloc accessory port round it out.

A living room that feels more like a small apartment

Inside, the opposing slides open up the main living area fast. Brinkley’s CraftSense™ construction helps here, too, because the cabinetry, trim, and slide fascia look clean and flush. Gold-toned fixtures and soft-close hardwood cabinets give the room a polished, residential feel.

The standout piece is the desk-dinette (Brinkley Z Dinesk™). Its table extends, shifts side to side, and works as a desk or dining surface. Beneath it, there is a wine rack and organizer drawer. Nearby, frameless Euro-style windows use a smart magnetic shade and screen setup.

Across from the entertainment wall, the reclining theater seats bring heat, USB ports, and wireless charging. A trifold sofa adds guest sleeping space, while the storage ottoman doubles as a coffee table or extra seat. In front of it all, the TV rises on a televator above an electric fireplace, with Rockford Fosgate audio built in.

The kitchen makes smart use of every inch

The island kitchen keeps the center open while still packing in storage. It gets solid-surface counters, a deep “Tuff Coat” sink, hidden trash and recycling bins, paper towel storage, and a long run of soft-close drawers.

Cooking space is strong. There is a three-burner range, oven, microwave, spice drawer, and a large residential-style fridge and freezer. The pantry beside the fridge is fully lit, has adjustable shelves, and even includes an outlet for small appliances.

One of the nicest touches is the coffee bar. It has its own counter space, cubby storage, upper cabinets, and a nearby outlet that suits a coffee machine well. Control panels, tank heater switches, battery monitoring, and a Maxxair fan remote are all close by.

The bath and bedroom keep the comfort level high

The bathroom has two entries, so it works as both a hall bath and an ensuite. It includes solid-surface counters, a mirrored medicine cabinet, a one-piece fiberglass shower, body sprayers, a rainfall head, glass doors, linen storage, and a porcelain foot-flush toilet.

Up front, the bedroom gets a walk-around queen bed with an upgraded bamboo mattress. Storage is excellent, with a wardrobe slide, drawers, bedside cabinets, overhead cabinets, and a fully finished under-bed compartment. Edison-style nightlights, standard outlets, and room for devices like CPAP machines make it feel well thought-through.

Final thoughts

The Brinkley Model Z 2900 feels loaded without feeling crowded. Its best trait is balance, because it combines towing-friendly size with the kind of layout and finish that usually show up in larger fifth wheels.

Price: Standard Run MSRP $119,515.
