These RVs are merry AND bright! Check out our readers’ decorated RVs

Last week we asked if you decorated your RV for the holidays, or if you had a favorite holiday tradition. We also asked you what your holidays will look like this year. Here are some of the responses, and photos, we received (you can click on any of the photos to make them bigger):

Rick and Teresa Sorrenti say, “Merry Christmas!”

Joan Best says, “Because of rising COVID cases, we chose to isolate for Thanksgiving and Christmas (no kids or grandkids) – just my husband and I. Camping in our RV worked out great for Thanksgiving but we’re in a necessary mandated lockdown now and camping is prohibited. Soooo, we’re staying home and decorating more. Plus, we brought our RV tree inside the house, the one pictured! We’re not looking for ways around the rules, we just want everyone to be safe and healthy. Besides, it’ll be better – TV and a real fireplace! Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎄

Below is “Christmas in Florida” from Allen Powell.

Robin Kinnard says, “Our tree is RV sized and perfect for 2020!”

From Connie and Mike Neuschwanger: “We spent Thanksgiving at an RV park instead of with our family. I put up my RV decor then and it was fun to put up and we got several nice comments from our park neighbors. We will be at our home for Christmas but will keep it pretty low-key. No parties – just a few small gatherings with different family groups. Merry Christmas. Hope the New Year brings good changes.”

Richard Chabrajez says, “This is our first full-time Christmas. We caught the holiday bug when our Escapees Hangout neighbors began decorating. Our “Reindeer Rodeo” is perched on our rear AC. It’s whimsical and takes very little storage space.”

David Bentley is “self-isolating in New Orleans.”

From Penny Heist. I decorated with Christmas lights around the interior of the trailer and I have a wreath on the refrigerator door plus this manger scene in an empty fish tank. Since Bob just died in June, I’m not going to do much more. Maybe next year.”
We’re sorry to hear about Bob, Penny. We’re thinking of you.

She Wren sent us this photo and said, “We hang a shower curtain across the front of our Class C RV and change it with the seasons. We are ready for Christmas. 😊This is brilliant!!

Here’s another brilliant idea from Cheri Stillar. Cheri writes, “I use keychains from everywhere we travel (my souvenirs) as Christmas ornaments. I have too many nowadays, so I have put them on a chain and added lights. Now I can leave them out year-round to enjoy.”

Lastly, we’ll leave you with a bit of humor from Mike Hayes, who writes, “Well… I guess not this year anyway, ya know… that COVID thing, she’s still quarantining… sad huh?” Ugh, it is sad, Mike!

Happy Holidays to you all! May your days be merry and bright.
