A question
can you use a 50 amp surge protector on a 30 amp unit by using 30 to 50 and 50 to 30 adapters
Yes, however keep in mind that you will only have 30 amp power. You can plug the 50 amp surge protector into a 50 amp campground outlet and use a 50/30 adapter to plug your shoreline cord into that. However, if you only have a 30 amp outlet, you will need a 30/50 dogbone between the outlet and the surge protector, then a 50/30 for the shoreline cord.
Thanks, Dave! Have a great day! 😀 -Diane
Yes, by using a 50 to 30 dog bone adapter. You only need one.
