Ohhhh, bacon. Just reading the word probably made you think of that smell—the sizzle, the salty-sweet aroma, the promise of breakfast getting very good very fast. It’s hard not to have feelings about bacon, which makes today’s poll pretty irresistible: How often do you eat bacon?
For some of you, bacon is a frequent flyer. Weekend breakfasts, BLTs, burgers, campfire cooking—it shows up often and proudly. There’s something about bacon that feels like a treat even when it’s familiar. Bacon is always a treat!
Others of you keep bacon in the “sometimes” category. Maybe it’s an occasional indulgence, a holiday breakfast staple, or something you cook only when the mood really strikes. You enjoy it, but not all the time, and that makes it feel extra special when it does land on your plate.
And then there are those of you who don’t eat bacon at all. Dietary choices, health concerns, or personal taste mean it’s a hard pass. These days, there are plenty of alternatives, and for some people, bacon just doesn’t have the same appeal it once did.
So what about you? Is bacon a regular part of your routine, an occasional treat, or something you skip entirely? Go ahead and vote in today’s poll—and thanks for chiming in. (Ugh. Now we’re hungry.)
Oh, and if you’re now craving bacon like we are, here are three non-breakfast bacon recipes. Yummmmmy!

We love bacon but as full time Rvers frying bacon smells great when cooking but leaves a lingering odor. It also leaves a greasy mess that is not good for holding tanks. We solve this problem by keeping a Sam’s size bag of bacon bits in fridge. Great sprinkled on bread for BLT, on salads for a blast of protein or in scrambled eggs or soups. Not quite as yummy as freshly fried, but so much more convenient
